The food is okay nothing dramatic and they do use a lot of oil in their food requested the food to be in plastic containers they sent me paper cardboard containers call them up and a question why did you say think in why did you set me in paper containers when everything is leaking. Truly a dissatisfaction taste. They yell at you when you are trying to explain them that this is not how I like my order delivery.

This place isn’t as good as other chinese take-out places in the area. I only go here because it’s right by where I live.

I love this place. Been ordering from them for years now. I’m pretty sure it’s one of the only places around me that delivers sushi. And the fact that you can order conveniently online is great for people like me who hate ordering over the phone. I’ve never had a problem with anyone stealing my credit card information, but then again I usually pay cash. The delivery guys are always friendly, and they always give us coupons for 50% sushi. The wait time for delivery has been between 15 – 30 minutes, which is great! Try ordering a Bento box when you can’t quite make your mind up.

Do Not Order online, your credit card will be stolen! Has happened several times to my husband and me and we finally figured out it is from ordering online from this place!!!

Be careful when ordering online from this restaurant. Although their food is delicious, if you pay with a credit card, it will be compromised and you will see fraudulent activity on it. I’ve done tests using different credit cards with them and they always become flagged for fraud after ordering from this establishment. They have lost me as a customer.

I like this place a lot. It’s not the most amazing, best food you’ll ever have(be realistic) but it’s nearby, the people who answer when we order are always nice, and I really like that in addition to good takeout Chinese food(and some Thai too that I can’t speak to yet), they also offer some pretty good sushi. We order from them quite often and have never had a problem. I usually do order sushi but sometimes I get a Chinese takeout staple like Sesame or General Tso’s chicken. Dependable and affordable like another reviewer stated so I will continue to choose Shogun Wok as my «go to» for Chinese takeout in the area(and yes they deliver to quite a few areas which is great!)

This place is five stars because… …the different and crazy sushi rolls(lobster, deep fried Yankee) alongside the cheap dependable ones(eel roll, spicy tuna roll) –deeelicious.) The prices. The delivery(they deliver everywhere in the area!!) the coverage of the menu – there are curry dishes, Thai dishes, Japanese appetizers and soups. I like just trying everything. ***disclaimer***Come on people this is not gourmet! It’s Chinese takeout. But it’s dependable and the price is aight. Just don’t get the spareribs.

This is a solid Chinese to-go place. Nothing new or exciting; just standard, good quality food. It’s not as authentic as Wonder Seafood or as original as Meemah; but, if you’re looking for classic Chinese takeout, this is the best in the area. Fast delivery too and they won’t screw up your order.

Ordered food on 1÷14÷2014 Their boneless spareribs were horrible. The meat was saturated in Soy Sauce. Salty, rubbery and if you closed your eyes, you would have believed you were eating rubber that tasted like Soy Sauce. Pork dumplings were large in size. The flavor wasn’t anything great, had much better. The dipping sauce for them was oil and soy sauce with one single green onion ring. They were skimpy on the sauce for the size of dumplings they give you. Just as well, didn’t taste good. The hot and sour soup looking like mud. Brown and gel like. Gel like as it chilled in the refridge. Heated up the soup and it still was thick like gelatin. Blek General Tso’s chicken wasn’t spicy as it should be. Days later the only thing that taste decent was the Pork Fried Rice. I would never order from this place ever again. Paid $ 25 for crap! Paypal advertises for this location, that you can pay through your Paypal account. When I asked the cashier, she said No. I guess she didn’t know how. ??

Ordered their Teriyaki chicken lunch special, so new it’s only on the on-line menu. The best thing about it was the white rice. The chicken looked and tasted like it was reheated in a microwave. The only part that wasn’t dry and rubbery was the edges which were extra dry like when you over microwave something. The teriyaki was really soy sauce with sesame seeds. I did a better job on my 1st attempt at teriyaki chicken. The soup was inedible and the carrots and broccoli were under cooked. Do yourself a favor get something from the 7-eleven grill across the street instead.

We ordered Vegetarian Food to be delivered and it was not edible. I generally give people a benefit of doubt but the food was worse than i could ever imagine. The spring roll, the veg fried rice and even the sautéed vegetables, all not worth it. For an order of 12 giving, a $ 5 tip was apparently not enough for the delivery guy.

Ordered the following Shrimp Lo Mein — 4⁄10 Boneless Spare Ribs — 6⁄10 Homemade Egg Rolls — 7⁄10 I could tell when I opened the box that I wasn’t going to like the Lo Mein. The Noodles had a very dark coloring to them. They looked as though they were dipped in Soy Sauce for a few days. The Lo Mein also lacked flavor. The Spare Ribs were good, not great. Just average. The Egg Rolls were the best part of the meal. Although not spectacular you could tell them they were home made and fresh. Aside from the Egg Rolls the one plus about this place was that they actually delivered the food when then say they would. They said it would arrive at my apartment in 45 – 50 minutes. 50 minutes on the dot later and they arrived.

I love to order from here because I can do it online and don’t have to talk to anyone. My orders always right and they have a huge selection of food! I’ve never had a problem with their sushi or hot foods. The only thing I can say is sometimes their delivery takes a long time but they deliver to like 10 different towns and I don’t care as long as it eventually gets to me!

being a happy patron of shogun wok’s for over 5 years now, and recently reading the one other review, I feel overwhelmingly obliged to speak out in defense! This little gem is vastly different from all other hole-in-the-wall chinese places. however – I must preface this review by saying if you want strictly chinese food, you might know of a better place; shogun’s chinese is average at best. sushi lovers take note! – the sushi is the real secret heart of shogun wok. shogun is strictly take-out or delivery; there’s no room to eat inside. their delivery area is really huge, too – pretty much anywhere in middlesex county. now, not only does shogun serve chinese food and japanese/sushi, there is also a thai menu! there are a lot of different curry dishes, and the perennial favorite pad thai isn’t bad – you get a lot for $ 8.95. There are a lot of great little thai appetizers and soups, too – the thai curry puffs are especially delicious. onto the sushi. the japanese appetizers(kani salad, tuna tataki) are good, but not amazing, and not that large. but shogun wok’s sushi is probably the second best I’ve ever tasted in my life. I could probably eat the yankee roll(white fish, tuna, salmon, and kani deep-fried with spicy mayo) for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a month. the american roll(crab cake, tempura shrimp, tobiko, and cucumber) is another fantastic selection, and the spider roll(soft shell crab) is always fresh, crispy, delicious. the last reason I give you why shogun wok’s sushi is so tremendous: there is a 50% off your entire sushi order(excluding appetizers and sashimi) coupon shogun gives you after your first order. The 50% off coupons are promotional and always expire on holidays(mother’s day, valentine’s day, christmas) but there’s always another coupon to replace it. year round. that means every piece of sushi(including the delightful $ 15.25 lobster meat roll) is always under $ 8 – and some rolls are as low as $ 2.50. check out their menus online – you can order online, too – and call in an order for a pretty quick delivery. you will not regret it – nor will your wallet.
