This place is a hidden gem. Masquerading as a pizza place, they have a dining room with waitress service, and serve great Italian food. And the best pasta fagioli. They also have daily specials(look on the whiteboard at the back of the dining room). Been eating here for years; never disappointed. And the prices are very reasonable.

This place is nice to dine in with loved ones. Cozy and inviting. Our server Andrea greeted us warmly and was right on point. Their cheesesteak was one of the best I’ve had. Giving 4 stars because I think the décor could use an update for more business! Service was great. We will be back!

This place is in a strip mall and has half a traditional pizzeria feel, half dining room. I went at 8 on a Thursday and picked slices out of the case to take home. 4 specialty slices(2 buffalo, 1 white broccoli, 1 pepper and onion) came out to $ 15, which was the same as a whole pie– so they are obviously overcharging for single slices. The pizza tasted old and not particularly good. There was no ranch/blue cheese in the buffalo slice, just dry chicken cubes covered in franks. The ricotta on the white broccoli was gross. I will say that the crust was nice and had the right amount of crunch to chewy. The garlic knots were small, but had a nice crunch– that was the only thing I liked about the entire meal. I hope they make better fresh pies, but I won’t know cause I’m not going back here.

The food has been great for me. I prefer at least once a week when I travel to the area for work. Cheesesteak with peppers and onions was perfect. French fries with mozzarella cheese was right on time.

Great pizza. One of the best chicken-parm slices out there. Cheesesteaks are good as well. Never had a bad experience here. I own a small HVAC business a few blocks away and we visit this place for lunch very often. I’ve read some complaints about bad service or poor hospitality… it’s NJ, what do you expect?

While I have been a frequent customer here, tonight, that completely stopped due to serious hygiene concerns I witnessed with my food. When the server opened my box of pizza to check on it, one of the slices fell cheese first onto the register counter and his hand. This slice should have been thrown away immediately. Instead, the server put the slice back in the box and asked if it was ok. I said, no, make me another slice. An older gentlemen with glasses got annoyed with the server for making me another slice He then took the slice that had fallen out of my box onto the counter, and put it back with the rest of the pizza to re-sell to customers. It was not until I voiced a complaint at him putting the slice back to re-sell, that he threw the pizza slice away. He told me he didn’t know it had fallen on the counter when just a few minutes before the server had told him that it had fallen on the counter. If I had not seen him do this, he would have knowingly sold a contaminated slice to an unsuspecting customer. This kind of attitude toward basic food handling is appalling and unacceptable. We will never eat there again.

Best pizza around. Also very good pepper and egg sandwich and french fries. Meatballs on pizza are to be avoided. Counter guys are not friendly, but who cares? The wait staff is great and very friendly. Not to be compared to NYC. What is? But fine for Metuchen/Edison.

Solid pizza. I guess the workers aren’t socially outgoing but they give my son a of water for free and don’t nickel and dime with the cups like some places. Their chicken park sandwich is really good and a nice size. The crust of the bread is flakey a the inside soft and warm like it should be. It’s the kind of place you can relax and task your time eating without being rushed out’

Pizza is ok. It works for lunch at work. The other day I paid for my order and the cashier didn’t even look at me. He was talking to another worker behind him on the phone. I got wings. Don’t waste your money. Your better off eating the money you paid for it. More breading than chicken. Slimy and not cooked enough and the celery wasn’t even washed. It shouldn’t be called Buffalo Wings. It should be called chicken wings with sauce on the side. Never again. And it’s a shame cause I am so close. They seem rude and seem not to care enough to bother handling complaints.

Got two slices from here both were bland. I don’t know what all good reviews are for. Guys behind counter were rude and threw my pizza on counter. This place had gone down hill since it has changed owners. Will not be coming back here

Best chicken parm on the planet. The owners are less than friendly and will not smile but they cook good food. They have been in this strip mall for 30 plus years making great pizza and solid dinners for take out and sit down. Very casual décor and service with good really NJ italian food.

I was meeting up with my uncle for lunch on my last day back in NJ before heading to the airport. He asked what I wanted to eat and even though I already had pizza on this trip I said pizza as I can never get enough of it while I’m back in this part of the country. There is good pizza where I live(surprisingly) but most of it still isn’t as good as the pizza on this coast. Tony’s seems to be my uncle’s go to pizza place for slices. It had been a long time since I’d been. The place still looks the same from what I can remember of it. Honestly I don’t really care what it looks like. Is the pizza good? Yes, it is. A plain slice is always my first slice. I always get at least one. Along with that I had a slice with chicken, red sauce and ricotta. I’m a sucker for ricotta on a slice of pizza. This slice was full of chicken. The crust was nice and thin, but not too thin. All in all a very good slice. What else can one say?
