I adopted my dog Jazzy from BCOYCR in January of 2009. The adoption process was simple and relatively painless. I corresponded with Barb, the founder, about what my personality was like and the personalities of the dogs in the rescue at the time, and then we arranged a meeting between Jazzy, her foster mom, and me at a local Petsmart. We clicked immediately and I was able to take her home after the meeting. The adoption fee for each dog is $ 150 and they come to you spayed or neutered, microchipped, with all needed vet work done including a dental cleaning. The rescue does important work and if you are considering adopting a small dog please go to their website and check out the stories of the dogs who are waiting to find their forever homes.
