It’s a Chinese buffet and you dont expect too much from it. I had a piece of bad beef and had to spit it out. Panda Express is so much better, cleaner and fresher!

So I’m pretty easy to please when it comes to Chinese food, I pretty much like it all. And this place is no exception. Went with a large group, service was great, restaurant was nice and clean. To the food. In my opinion, most Chinese buffets are pretty similar, and you get what you expect. If you want gourmet Chinese, don’t come here. If you want to satisfy your craving, this place is great! Crab Rangoon — awesome. Spicy chicken, lo mein, sesame chicken, and the green beans are really good too. Definitely will be coming back here!!!

You know, for an inexpensive Chinese buffet, China Palace Super Buffet is A-OK. It’s not the most amazing food in the world, but it hits the spot when you have a hankering for Chinese.

Remembering the cafeteria that used to reside in it’s spot I walked into the super buffet for the first time to try it out. I will not give a list of everything I ate. Rather I will mention a few items. First I will say I was pleased with the overall quality of the food. I usually see low quality offerings at such buffets that take the joy out of the experience. Here they had a lot to offer and almost all of it fresh and well prepared. That said I did not find a lot that I did enjoy. I was not able to put together a plate of cohesive foods that sang to me of the joy of Asian cuisine. I did not like the egg rolls however the sweet and sour chicken was tender and freshly fried. The Yakatori Chicken was excellent but the stuffed mushrooms while properly cooked did not have a lot of flavor or pleasant texture. I thought the fried bread was good but had too much sugar to think of them as anything but desert. I’m not sure I will return here unless dragged by a friend who wants to come. Maybe you can find a more harmonious plate than I enjoyed you certainly have many choices here.

The buffet had a pretty good range of all foods. They even had sushi. I’m leary of trying sushi at a buffet but thought I’d take a bite just to see. That was a huge mistake! Never again will I try sushi at the buffet. The food my kids liked it. They were also very hungry. The hot and spicy soup was okay. The staff was rude. I will not be going back.

The food is good at least as good as a Chinese buffet can be. They won’t put new food out unless there are a lot of people there, so don’t go at weird times. As far as the restaurant goes, it’s a pice of crap as most buffets are but your not there for the scenery right. The cooks in the back are something out of this world! Not in a good way. They are loud and often yelling or singing. Many times I have seen one of the cooks walk out of the kitchen without a shirt on!

I don’t know why I continue to let my guy drag me to these places. Anyways, I felt like most of the chicken dishes were about the same. You can’t even really tell them apart. Sushi was a joke. It was cold. They didn’t even peel the green beans. Food was salty too. Surprisingly, the white rice was cooked nicely. There was maybe 2 – 3 okay items.

My mom and I were told about this place when we asked for a recommendation for«a good Chinese buffet with lots of options.» We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and weren’t disappointed. There are lots of options for chicken and beef, plus different types of noodles and soups. There’s a fruit bar and a small selection of sushi. I think they also do mongolian stir fry, but I didn’t see anyone standing there cooking so I’m not sure. Everything I tried was tasty and I’ll go back next time I’m in town. It’s also amazing that it’s less than $ 8 per person for a Saturday lunch. I’m used to $ 10+ per person for weekend prices(including lunch) in Texas.

One of my favorite buffets in Edmond. I like their honey shrimp and mussels. I also demolish tons of their sweet cripsy beef(don’t remember the name).

By far worst in OKC, went in for a quick lunch, menu listed adult lunch Buffett was 5.95. Not a bad price. Food was horrendous, low stock, cold. Then went to leave and menu prices were incorrect turns out they have raised them but didn’t change the menu. 2 adult buffets was 24.00… Which divides out to 12.00 each for a crappy lunch priced Buffett. Not a place I would recommend to my enemy.

Wow … how to start a review about the worst Chinese place I’ve ever eaten at ??? Quite honestly, the worst cooked dishes with ingredients that couldnt pass for fresh if the cook’s life depended on it. A real lack of quality choices combined with an apathetic and slow to attention staff just made this place go from bad, to I need to get out of here! Most of their dishes were chicken dishes, poorly cooked and lathered with thick, MSG filled sauce. The veggie dishes were poorly put together, with MSG(who puts MSG on veggies???). The dessert was pretty lackluster, just the basic fruit, might I add that the fruit was definitely from a can. The monoglian BBQ might have been one of the only things that I could stand eat. My recommendation … DONTCOMEHERE! Save your money for a lottery ticket, at least it won’t hurt your stomach!
