Danny B’s Gourmet Pizza

Pizza was over cooked. Crust rubbery, not even the kids would eat it. This place used to be decent but it’s gone downhill. Don’t waste your money, it’s worth the drive to pick up something else.

My husband is out in okc working on oil rigs, and I placed an order from california to surprise him for valentines day. Not only was the person I talked to the most helpful person, because I don’t know the area at all, but the decorated the box, and threw in their own holiday surprise! I have never experienced such wonderful service. I will be moving out there soon send highly recommend this place to anyone. Plus my husband added that the pizza was amazing! Such a wonderful experience!

Under new owner. Called in order for delivery with $ 25+ worth of menu items. We wanted to add a medium pizza that we ordered through our high school’s fundraiser but the new owner said she would not allow the driver to bring that pizza with the rest of our order «because the coupon CLEARLY states dine in or carry out only.» We explained to her that the driver was already delivering $ 25 worth of other items but she still refused to deliver the extra pizza, saying, «if you want it you’ll have to pick it up.» Whatever. Thinking this may have been an «off night», we decided to order again from this place again, this time trying to redeem a groupon. Because of our bad experience with the fundraiser coupon, we called ahead to verify they would accept it. Unbelievably, the owner said NO «because it was ordered under the previous owner.» We said the coupon clearly states «No Expiration Date», but she argued and said if we wanted to redeem the groupon we would have to «call the previous owner about it.» When I told her this was the 2^nd time we’d had problems ordering from them and wouldn’t be ordering again, she said, «Fine, then don’t!» Not a problem for us, considering that, without a coupon, they are charging $ 20+ to deliver a cold, mediocre pizza anyway.

Some of the best pizza I have ever had. We usually order pork sausage and cream cheese.

The pizza is *really* good. I am a big fan of the everything — essentially supreme + bacon. The veggies they use are locally sourced, not from a can — the difference is huge. I’d say it’s probably the best supreme pizza I’ve had.
I live in Waco, TX, so I’m not able to come to Danny’s often, but it’s on my shortlist of OKC restaurants when I am in town.

We had a Groupon that we had gotten for our daughter at college. The location was so remote she had not used it. We got the pepperoni and cream cheese, Margherita, and the Piggy BBQ pizza’s. We did go and pick up and found a couple of pretty unmotivated employees (sorry, a pet peeve of mine) to take the order. The place is bland inside, so eating in won’t be much of an experience. The pepperoni was the overall favorite, mine was the BBQ. The Margherita was described as «no taste».
