My second trip to gin Thai was a memorable one. The coconut soup is exceptional. The only detractor is that there are many pieces of galangal lemongrass and dried lime leaves that you have to pick around. They are not exactly edible. But the soup was exceptional. Next we had the panang curry which was by far the best Curry I have ever had. It is served with an Indian style bread that makes it different but special. I will be back soon.

I really like Gin Thai, but I have the problem of remembering it is around due to the fact it’s tucked away in a corner of Edmond I don’t usually frequent. But if you’re unlike me and do venture beyond Danforth or thereabouts, it’s a pretty good spot for some Thai food! Both times I’ve been, it was not busy at all and at one time, I was the only person in there. Which, thankfully, meant decent service. More people need to know about this place!, though! Their food is tasty. I’ve wound up ordering the drunken noodles both time and loved it – very flavorful and filling! I’m very happy to have gone out of my oh-so comfortable pad thai zone. Give Gin Thai a try!

We tried it the second week it was open. Food was good. Owner was very nice and friendly. Very clean place. My only problem was that the portions were small. I actually left hungry and grabbed a burger on my way back home.

Oh my gosh what a wonderful surprise! Stopped for a quick lunch and the strip mall small restaurant was very calming and cute. Having the lunch special curry and chicken Thai basil. The starter soup was light with root vegetables in small cubes, lemongrass and cilantro and tasty. The curry and Thai basil was very flavorful and a lot to eat for $ 8.50. The spicy and flavors were perfect from the usual muddled Thai flavors at most resteraunts. Highly recommended!

Gin Thai Fusion has been on our go-to list for quite a while now and we finally gave it a go a couple of nights ago. Being seated and ordering were odd experiences because we weren’t sure if we were supposed to walk to the counter to ask to be seated/order or wait for someone to help us. We eventually were seated and the nice waitresses took care of us after the initial confusion. We ordered the pot stickers and edamame as appetizers which were delicious but pretty average when compared to others we’ve tried. Then we ordered pad thai as the entrée. We thought it was also pretty good but average again. Other reviews noted this as well, but we’re huge fans of this dish so we tried it to compare it to others we’ve had. We may return to try other dishes like the shrimp pineapple curry because the pics on Unilocal look delicious.

Excellent Thai place. Good stuff includes — dumplings, massaman, drunken noodles, sticky rice, pepper garlic, Thai basil. Great service. Quiet atmosphere.

We chose to order takeout from this restaurant due to all the good reviews. Ordered the dumplings for a starter which were good, nothing really to complain about there. For our entrees, we got the Thai basil with shrimp and the pad Thai with chicken. Thai basil wasn’t bad but nothing special. I am only writing this review to shed light on the pad Thai. A good Thai restaurant has to have a good pad Thai, and theirs was extremely disappointing. It was pretty much dry noodles and chicken. No flavor, no spice(we ordered a level 3 out of 3). Pretty small portion too, compared to other Thai restaurants around the area. I would love to see this business do well because they were really sweet, but you have to fix the pad Thai! Stat.

We had lunch here and it’s 4 hours later and I’m STILL thinking about how good my Beef Panang dish was! I just said to my wife, «We should take the kids back for dinner!» I applaud this place for finally getting back to correct portion sizes! Our first experience here was awesome. We will definitely be back! Service was great and timely. Water glasses were always full. I typically order spicy stuff but glad I didn’t order the level 3(their hottest) because level 2 was just right for me.

Amazing Thai food in Edmond, OK. I usually rate places based on how well my kids eat there and they loved this place. The dumplings were excellent. My kids shared the Tiger Crys steak which they devoured. My wife had the Pad Chaa. Something new for us, but wow was it good. We ordered it a 2 on the spice scale and will think about toning it down to a 1 next time, but still amazing. I had the E-Sarn Set. To die for… if you like papaya salad and sticky rice! The service was friendly and quick and the food comes out quickly. We will certainly be regulars here!

Amazing! Best Thai in the area. We had the dumplings, Beef Penang and Chicken Penang Curry. They were all perfect including the soup. Attentive, polite staff. Super clean restaurant. Go. You won’t regret it.

Hands down best thai food in Edmond… probably in OKC area too! Stopped by for lunch with girlfriend and her sister and ordered the pork pad thai and it was really good. Sweet a little sour, meat was tender… yum! Also ordered the dumplings and they were excellent! Highly recommend this restaurant. Décor is straight from Thailand and the staff are so nice. Keeping up with the Okie spirit! Will be back again this time with the parents in tow!

It’s my first but never be my last. Gin Thai fusion is the best thai food in Edmond. I ordered Tom yum chicken, Sunny Pork, Jumbo Shrimp pad thai and chicken thai basil. They are all the best, fresh and delicious. I have them 5 stars because food, service and décor is outstanding. Love it.

What a welcome addition to Edmond! The hubby and I have been eating here once a week since they opened, and honestly we could eat here daily! The menu is so interesting, and everything is fresh and clean tasting. The owners are the nicest folks, and very accommodating to everyone’s preferences.

Giving a four star due to the portion size. Ordered Thai basil chicken and it was delish. Again, more portions(seems like a lunch portion) and this place would get 5 stars. Also, this place is not a $ but should be $$. If the fast food Slim Chickens down the street is $$ then this place is definitely $$. I would recommend this place to others looking for Thai.

Oh wow! Delicious food. We had the Green Salmon, Chicken Pad Thai, and Pork Fried Rice. The Green Salmon was so packed with flavor. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The décor is extremely appealing with antiques and teakwood. We will return! Great place to eat.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Décor and music are delightful and relaxing. I ordered the Friday lunch special, Panang Curry & Sweet & Sour Chicken, which is like getting two ½ meals. The Curry was tasty, not as spicy as I like, and the S&S Chicken was a lightly sweet with surprisingly fresh-baked chicken(rather than battered & fried). Nth very good! My husband ordered the Chicken Fried Rice with spice-level of 1; he enjoyed it, though it was priced higher than we usually pay for it elsewhere. We’ll bring the kids back for dinner!

My husband and I went here for lunch, it was soooo delicious! I had the Cashew Chicken and it was served in a pineapple — it was absolutely full of flavor, I loved it. My husband had the Chicken Pad Thai — it was awesome as well. Would definitely recommend this place. Great diversity for Edmond. Give it a try.
