First off 6 stars should be in order!!! I will say this lady is a hard working amazing women and can sew, hem, tailor etc. Prices are fair and her customer service is great she is what I like to call retro and def busy I love it. I’m not quite sure I believe the other review about rude honestly she was a gem with a foreign accent which made it an even better experience. I was getting my measurements and someone came in and she asked them to wait a moment so she could finish he did he paid she took my info and BOOM. I SUPPORTTHISTYPE of business and so should you $ 10 for a hem per pant is a steal for I’m used to $ 20-$ 25 come from Hawaii

I will admit the week before Christmas is not the best time to take something to the tailor — my favorite sweater had a split seam in the sleeve, but I hoped that a small job like that could be squeezed in. That’s some extra Christmas cash, right? Wrong. When I entered, someone else was talking to the woman behind the counter, so I waited patiently. After a couple minutes, the person in front of me went on their merry way, and I walked up to the counter. The woman looked down at me and brusquely said, «What?» Excuse me? «What?»? No hello? No how are you? I was a little appalled, but said hello and explained that the seam in my sweater needed mending. She looked me like I had grown 5 heads and exclaimed«Before Christmas? Forget about it!» Now mind you, I had not even specified that I wanted my sweater completed before Christmas, so her presumption was off-putting and rude. At that point, I was downright irritated. Yes, the holidays are stressful, but is it necessary to take it out on potential paying customers? No. So I smiled, scooped up my sweater, and said, «Ok, then. I won’t need this fixed. Have a nice day!» and walked straight out the door, never to return.
