***Review #400!!!*** OKC needs more places like Mitch Park, rad communal spaces that people can enjoy together, socialize, and play for free. Mitch Park combines so many amazing things for everyone in one space: — A running trail(up to 5mi loop) — Practice wall for the lacrosse kids — Disc golf for college kids and guys in visors — Skate park for pubescent kids who wanna get away from Mom and Dad — Pavilions for snack time — Playgrounds for people like me that can’t ever seem to grow up… or your kids. — Plenty of green space to play! This place is really pup friendly, too. Poop bags and doggy fountains on the trail! Even better, tons of trashcans everywhere, so no sack of dog shit swinging from my hand when begrudgingly taking my bestie’s dog for a run. Parking on Covell St is plentiful unless there’s a ball game going on.(Hope you didn’t need to pee before you found parking… it’ll be a while.) Thanks for making this place soooo awesome, City of Edmond!

I haven’t been to Mitch park in about 5 years. The park has grown more beautiful. I remember Mitch park only had the baseball fields and the running trail. It now has picnic areas, playgrounds, the YMCA, and of course the trails and fields. Love it!
