Beware of trying to cancel your membership. This company continued to charge me for 6 months after I cancelled. I opened a BBB complaint and was then refunded my money. HOWEVER, they then began to charge me again a few days later and have not stopped charging me since. I re-opened the BBB complaint and they refuse to respond or refund my money. I haven’t lived in Oklahoma for 9 months and still am paying for this membership. Beware, NOONE returns your call, emails go unanswered.

If I could take away that one star I would. This place sucks, I had a contract with them for years, and cancelled after never using it being told that I get member priced credits. So I went a few times being able to use those credits and then I tried to get that price on credits after a couple month break and was told I wasn’t a member! Really I had a contract for like 3 years then am not considered a member.

TERRIBLE!!! More than half the I times I try to get a spray tan the equipment is down. When it IS operating the color is uneven. They don’t even have a phone number you can call to ASK if the equipment is down. They just refer you to a sketchy«corporate number» that sends you to a voicemail system that apparently goes unanswered. Tried to cancel and I can’t do that at the store. I have to mail a form and hope they get it. Then it’s 30DAYS after they claim to get the form before they’ll stop hitting my account? Sleazy at best! This used to be a great place. I’ve had a membership for years. But I’m canceling and warn others not to mess with these folks. Go to a reputable tanning salon that has management on site to resolve issues.

I was asked if this was resolved — it was, however, not easily. I got home the night I called, checked my account to see if anything getting returned was pending, only to find another charge and another overdraft charge was pending. When I called a second time, they said, matter of factly, «oh its just your account trying to catch up from the month it missed». I had to call the next day, talk to 2 more people, get a statement from my bank, email it, and they finally returned my money and the overdraft charges. The first person I talked to at corporate was nice, said she was sorry, this shouldn’t have happened. They kept getting more rude the more I called. Sorry, I’m inconveniencing you with the $ 160 you stole. The last girl said«I just want you to know that we normally don’t refund this, but since you work at your bank well put it back». Unbelievable. What about everyone else you’ve done this to? And they act like I’m going to come back«next time». I hope they get shut down — it seems like every time I went in someone was closing an account and losing money or credits

The equipment is high quality and clean. All the people I met were really nice and not overly selling you like at the beach. It is a great Oklahoma business and if you tan this is a great place to go. ***However*** I have a major bone to pick their process for canceling the membership AFTER contract is up. –Go into office –Fill out a full application to cancel –Mail it yourself –30 day notice is needed I fulfilled my contract with you. Let me go in peace!

I have been with them for several years(2010 – 2014) and overall, they are a pretty nice place and I have only had one person in this time that was unprofessional. I am giving them only one star because I cancelled my membership due to PCSing at the beginning of February 2014 and they continued to pull money out the beginning of March and now for April. I have called multiple times and sent multiple emails to their corporate office since this they charged me in March and I have not heard a peep from them. The equipment(at the Gore location) is clean and I have no beef with the employees, however, I cannot recommend a business that is now stealing money.

I am highly disappointed with the Riviera Corporate Office and the Edmond location. I have never in my life been treated the way these ladies treated me the last couple weeks. I was simply trying to cancel my membership and EVERYSINGLEPERSON told me something different. I had to talk to 3 different people for it to finally be canceled. Also anyone interested in tanning here should know what you are signing up for. Read in full the membership you sign. I was not told everything when I first signed the membership, and was charged past my 6 months which is my fault. However, the ladies are not helpful when trying to cancel your membership and they will do whatever possible to continue to take your money. I would NOT recommend this tanning salon to anyone.

The location on NW Expressway and Rockwell is my least favorite of all the stores. There’s tons of trash outside the store & the girls are always on their cell phones acting like its a bother when you check in. My favorite location is 122nd and Rockwell. There still is a problem with trash outside the store but the people are excellent. I love the guy that works there. He learned my name and always asks how my day was and we’ve become friends.(Never going back to the location on expressway) Tanning wise Riviera has the best tanning beds in Okc. Which for the best I guess you have to pay the price. I can’t afford $ 68 a month for tanning(I’m on a student budge.) BUT there is usually a groupon that’s $ 32 for 3 months or coupons that’s on value pack. Com. Also I would suggest getingt your lotion somewhere else unless you can afford over $ 100 for one bottle.
