Saturday walk up to the door 8:00PM on the button. Clerk already is pulling the tray out of the registers. Looks at me like oh great a customer, what does he want I need to get out of here and it’s already 15 sec past closing. Comes to the door «Ya?» I need a rare and very expensive inkjet cartridge do you have it? Looks at the number «yes– but only in a comb pack» — great I’ll take it. «nothing I can do the computer is already shutdown» I look at my watch and it still hasn’t clicked over to 8:01 — ?“you can’t help me?” «Nope» combo pack = $ 134 @ 85% gross margin. Fine I will never and I mean never shop at staples and I will reject all POs going to Staples from our company — plenty of other suppliers hungry for business and able to train their employees about customer service
