I used to like taco Bueno but something has really changed. This location smells and the food is not good. The past three times we have eaten, we left feeling ill. I would not recommend them.

Taco Bueno is the best! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a Taco Bueno and the food not be good. However, my only complaint is the customer service. I don’t know what has happened recently, but every time I’ve been to Taco Bueno(maybe around 4 times in just the past month alone) the service in the drive thru has been mediocre. It’s been a different employee each time too, so it’s not like it’s just one or two employees in particular that are rude and everyone else is friendly. The service never used to be like this before. Maybe it’s a training issue? It’s a bit unusual for every employee to act the same. Most of the time if you go somewhere maybe one or two employees aren’t friendly, not every single one. Anyways, I will still continue to eat there, but it would be nice to encounter some friendly faces. Three stars for the customer service. Five stars for the food.

One of the better fast food restaurant I’ve experienced. The service is decent and they are always busy especially during lunch, dinnertime, and the weekends. Follow them on Facebook for deals and specials that is not advertised in stores. Don’t forget to ask for more salsa. It’s a must with your foods.

We tried Taco Bueno one evening recently because they were having Mucho Nacho specials. We ordered two steak and two chicken. When I returned home and pulled the order out if the bag, we had two bean and two chicken. The chicken order had very little chicken and was mostly refried beans. The chips were mushy/chewy. The meal was not worth eating. We won’t go back. We do not recommend Taco

I had my first experience at Taco Bueno in the 90’s. What I thought was interesting then and even now was that most the ingredients are made fresh on site. I was happy to see that even after 20 years, the beans are set up the night before and refried the next morning, pico de gallo made fresh by hand and meat cooked in the morning. It’s not five star Tex-mex, but it isn’t «boil a precook bag of meat or open a can of salsa“Tex-mex either.

This location needs help. The building is old(the exact way it was when I lived in Edmond 25 years ago) the parking and drive-thru are a mess and the inside feels dirty. The biggest problem is that the service is slow. Mind numbingly slow. It’s not uncommon for the drive-thru line to be out into the street, blocking traffic at the nearby intersection. And inside there is ZERO sense of urgency from the employees. Most of the time the food is cold by the time you get it. On the positive side my order is always correct and once reheated, always good. I prefer the Bueno on May Ave. in OKC.

This place is my favorite place to eat and is one of the only places open late at night, but I will not be returning to this location at all. The«manager» has no sense of customer service and lacks respect. My order was messed up and given to me without being read back to ensure it was right. When I reached into my bag there was queso dumped in my bag all over everything including the napkins. When I called the manager to talk about it I explained the situation and he sarcastically responded well what do you want me to do about it? Along with the disrespect shown for customers he doesn’t seem to concerned with what happens to orders that were messed up. When asked for the district managers phone number he spoke fast and mumbled the numbers in order to prevent the complaint. This manager should be retrained and specialize in customer service once again something he doesn’t seem to have! Avoid this place late night, they treat you like absolute trash

This is the Worst Taco Bueno I have ever used. I love Taco Bueno but this one has never ever got my order right in the drive through. I’ve been there a total of three times just this week and every time something is gets screwed up. If you can please avoid this place. It has an absolutely horrible drive thru!!!

Can’t go wrong with Taco Bueno. Fresh made food is always nice. They also now give a military discount which is always nice. I am a big fan of the number one combo and of course the cheesecake chimichangas are tasty as well

I love the bean burrito with sour cream only at this location of Taco Bueno. I usually go thru the drive thru and there is always a line. Many times you will get a survey on your receipt to get a free bean burrito so bonus for the next visit.

I love Taco Bueno. I wish they had them up here in the Pacific NW. I always get the mexi chips and dips. It’s the perferct size for me as one person. Plus you get a little of everything in the little cups(guac, beans, and chips and cheese) Only think you don’t get in the chip cups is salsa. I’ve had other things there and they always taste good and much better than Taco Bell. One of my friend’s got me hooked on Taco Bueno in college and I really miss it. I know… terrible that I miss food. Whenever I’m back in OK I have to go to the Bueno. I think the prices are really cheap and the drinks are super huge and fizzy. The customer service is good too and it doesn’t feel like they just haphazardly slap together some tasteless tacos or less than average burrito like Taco Bell. Taco Bueno actually has flavor in their food and it actually taste good. Also they have a drive through which makes it awesome. I think some people have mentioned not to come here during lunch. I also used to work down the street from Taco Bueno and a group of three to six of us never had any problem getting in and getting our food and even eating there. There were always seats and the food came fast. I guess you just have to pick your battles or just go through the drive through. As with many of the businesses on 2nd St, they are also open pretty late which is great for college students.

Do NOT go inside for a lunch break… I repeat — do NOT go inside for a lunch break. The cars in the to-go are on a timer of 1 minute so they have their food within seconds — while there’s 10+ people standing inside for their order that takes over 15 – 20 minutes. Sometimes the food is perfect and then other times when 1 thing is bad the entire plate is bad — stale chips — cold meat — etc. other than that I guess you get what you’re paying for!

I live about a mile from this store. And far be it from me to neglect a great thing in my life and take it for granted. This place should be the model for how a fast food shop should be run. Always good food. The people care if they screw up your order. They have long term employees — some have been there for years. I’m pretty sure I was eating at this location in the womb — and I’m 31 years old. That’s how long it’s been around and it’s still well operated and considerate of its patrons. If I wore a hat, it would be off to you.

I am back in town, so this means I am back at Bueno — as often as possible. Happy the category has been corrected, as this is brilliant Tex-Mex. So much tastier than the other chains. If you are ready to eat — you will never EVER go wrong here.

Good food, OK prices, pretty good service. Better than a Taco Bell or Taco Mayo food quality wise. Only got my order wrong once. Like that there’s a drive though and their cheesecake chimis are AMAZING!
