This place is great. Very relaxed and friendly. The outside seating area could use some potted plants to make it more inviting but overall a lovely spot for a coffee and a pastry

Worker was only one person, so service was a bit slow, but props to him for working so hard. My short latte could have added an extra shot. Wifi is great here! Will come again~

I’m amending my review because one of my biggest complaints is the wifi being flakey. It appears they’ve replaced the wifi access point and it works wonderful now. A full 5 stars! I’m drinking drip now as they have some pretty good ones but Fremont is my favorite with Ladro second. The vegan oat bars are still killer but you have to get there by noon to get one.

This coffee house may be the quietest around and also has a very positive, uplifting feel. Very different from the rush and constant noise of other places. The food is pretty good, as well. Unfortunately, the one low point is the coffee! It’s just not very good. Still, a nice place to catch a moment of peace or study and nothing a bunch of dairy and sugar can’t fix.

Cute little coffee place! Coffee is good, pastries are ok and service is great! Used to come here once a week and I love the homey feeling! Parking is vast and plenty. They even have a little drive thru! But this place is so cute that if you have the chance to sit down and enjoy it then it’s a must! Prices are pretty on par with other independent coffee places so it’s not anything to be surprised by but this place is cute! Plenty of seating inside and a great little place to relax!

First time to Café Ladro despite my friends always raving about it. I had a pumpkin spice latte(gotta get them while I can) and to go with it a pumpkin scone — I know, how«basic» of me. Well the latte was excellent, not too sweet. And the scone was very moist and went perfect with the latte. Next time I want to try the raspberry scone. My husband loves dirty chai lattes which is what he had. He likes it down the middle, half sweet half spicy. He said it was one of the better chai’s he’s had. Luckily we live pretty close so I imagine we will be back

Nice staff, consistency in their drinks. Much better IMO than the stand across the street.

Awesome spot! Really great staff, awesome coffee, awesome breakfast treats, and fair trade coffee?! Too many good things to say about this place! The hot chocolate is awesome! Just the right amount of chocolate, and not overly sweet! The bacon scone is super tasty as well as the breakfast sandwiches! And the staff is positively kindred spirited.

The location is super convenient for us in Edmonds but at the moment the huge vacancy in the rest of the strip detracts from any possible ambience sitting outside. The interior is nice and the atmosphere is relaxed and even cozy. We’ve been there a number of times and every person behind the counter has been upbeat and helpful in making selections. We thought the coffee and hot chocolate drinks were good but the pastries just OK. We would like to try another Ladro, maybe in Lynnwood.

GREAT coffee. Espresso taste is just right, & perfect bittersweet/steaming texture. They have juices, pastries, salads(which I’ve heard are great!!!) & chocolates. Nice, quiet spot to sit inside/outside. The beans they have to buy are exotic, aromatic & unique.

The place is small but the coffee was good. I had the cardamom cake, a bit dry, but good. I like how they offer drive-thru orders.

We were surprised after discovering this little cute place. After we walked in, we were greeted by very friendly staff. We were introduced to the menu and given suggestions. This place was not busy at all. There are tables everywhere and you can bring your computer and enjoy your time here. After awhile, we decided to get coffee, cappuccino, potato sage, and treehugger breakfast sandwich. The sandwich has nutmeg spiced egg, arugula, and aged cheddar cheese. It tasted ok, but not the best. The potato sage tasted more like eggs, but it was not bad at all. The coffee and the cappuccino were the best, tasted hot and served in a nice set of cups. Overall, the environment, service, and place would make us come back sometime in the future again.

This is a nice place with good food and very friendly staff. It’s spacious, clean and comfortable. There are a lot of outlets so you can sit and plug in. This is a great place to get some work done, read a book or visit with some friends. The bakery items are quite unique. I got a potato sage scone. It was interesting. Not the worst scone I’ve ever had but not the best either. My husband got a breakfast sandwich. Again, not the best, but not bad either. The cappuccino was great. I will definitely be back to sit and chill on my laptop for awhile and to try some other interesting item on their menu. There is plenty of parking and I noticed a drive thru as well.

Not bad, cute, kind of empty location but a cute place to study even though Edmonds is far from everything. The flat white was cute and tasty! Pretty much a tiny latte but paying 3 something for it seemed like much. Maybe because everything on Edmonds has a few extra dollars on it

I have been here 5 times now. Every time I have been here I order 3 – 5 drinks,(big family) and they have never gotten the whole order correct. So sad because I absolutely love the Ladro on 196th. Would recommend the 196th caffe instead. But there is a ton of parking here lol

The loveliest bunch of coffee brewing people in town. Fresh pastries. Lots of seating and free WiFi. They have one large table suitable for a gathering of friends or meeting. And when the weather is nice, there’s outdoor seating as well. Local artists displays too.

Such a cute coffee shop! I went along with my sister who usually comes here and I was actually able to work in peace. We went at the right time because it wasn’t too noisy and there was plenty of seating. They have fast wifi too! The baristas are so bright and friendly towards everyone you can’t help but be happy. They were also playing soft jazz in the background to top it off. Overall, the local coffee is really tasty and they have and yummy treats/baked goods also. Make sure to try them out!

i’m a «recent regular» here and usually frequent this spot between the hours of 2 – 7. Its a good place to get some work done or catch up with a friend for those who don’t mind the soft background sounds of mixed conversation, barista pleasantries and grinding beans. There’s tons of parking since the place next door moved out and the construction on main street is over. I think they might bring in a grocer next door which would be an interesting touch. i dont know much about coffee but i order their almond milk latte(the middle size) for $ 4 and change and love it. *all drinks come with 2 shots. *they also have drive thru.

I wish, I wish I could give this site five stars; Hannah and Angela deserve them(along with their other coworkers, whose names I don’t know). I’m not a coffee aficionado so I don’t feel confident in my evaluation of their roasts, but the raspberry scones! Oh, what a way to start the day when you can’t sleep past 6am. If you’re headed for this drive-through between 6am and 7am, drive straight up to the window; they ask that you place your order there to minimize noise for their neighbors. Also, be sure to give yourself ten minutes to sit in line and another five for your order to be processed. They usually only have one person on shift that early, which doesn’t make sense to me given how many people in Edmonds are early risers or/and retirees, all of whom love their coffee shops. Walk-ins tend to be seen to faster than drivers; I don’t know if this is the policy, but I’ve seen it happen with every barista who has eventually handed me the scone I came for. Don’t get me wrong; this is a good experience, and everyone who works here is lovely. Hannah and Angela are the two I see most often, and they are such a delight to chat with even though they’re rushing about. There’s another fellow(ETA: his name is Dustin) who remembers my order, and he’s quite friendly and always apologizes for the delay. If I ever came here without needing to rush I would have nothing negative to say except that there aren’t enough big comfy chairs; there’s plenty of seating overall, but I like the deep burgundy plush armchairs for comfort’s sake. There are also a couple of wrought-iron tables and chairs outside for good-weather seating, and when Mieko’s was still next door it was a special treat for me to have an early workout and then cool down with a scone and a latte before heading home. As it is, I head out early on the workdays when I want a scone and spend more time waiting than I would like, but obviously, it’s worth it.

I can’t quite put my finger on what was«uncomfortable» at this place. Perhaps the music was too loud, maybe the food selection wasn’t that great, .hmm…oh.I think it may be the lack of coziness of a café. The Mocha and the Ham & Cheese croissant did not impress me, perhaps I should’ve gotten the quiche instead. The prices were a little higher than I would like it for an okay mocha and the croissant. although simple, I still think it could’ve been cheaper. Caffe Ladro is tucked in the corner of a plaza next to a gym. The vast parking lot definitely provided ample parking(or maybe I just went during off-peak hours). There is also the convenience of a drive-thru for people on the go. Overall, I wouldn’t return, maybe because it wasn’t cozy, or I didn’t think the coffee was all that great. or maybe I have used too many maybes…
