Popped in for lunch on a business trip. From start to finish, it was a great choice … The extremely personable server, Ameen, helped me out with suggestions, all of which were delicious. Will definitely go there again when I’m in the area.

Went with my Kids over the weekend. Excellent place very good atmosphere. I ordered Chicken curry and Nan. It was one of the best I had. Food was delicious. The nan was baked perfect. Kids ordered the Malai Chicken. To my surprise kids loved it and even remarked the food is not spicy .The chicken in the curry was juicy and nicely marinated My wife ordered Chicken Biryani. The portion size was excellent. There is ample parking. I have been to other restaurants in the Edmond waterfront and parking is always a struggle Will definitely go there again

I have ordered from here 6 times. The 5th time I thought I just got a bad batch so I ignored it, understanding that not everyone is perfect every time. I order the 6th and last time, and again, tastes like leftovers. Just not fresh and as tasty as previous times. I am convinced that when ordering delivery on weekdays that the leftover from the earlier buffet is probably shipped off instead of making fresh food, if not, that is what it tastes like. I thought I was lucky because I found a great Indian delivery place that makes it to my house, but unfortunately an inconsistent restaurant is not a great restaurant.

Yummy in my tummy! Would eat here again had fab food in great booth! Only reason didn’t give this delish place a 5 is because how cold the restaurant was. Bundle up and come on in!

We walked in around 6 pm with the intention of grabbing a cocktail and something light at the bar. As we walked in, a male server glanced at us but did not acknowledge us,(snubbed us) so we sat ourselves at the bar. The bar was littered with empties as if the restaurant had just been evacuated. We kind of just cleared a spot for ourselves at the empty bar and waited for someone to appear to take our order. We waited and waited. Then we glanced around and noted: There were 2 tables of diners in the entire joint. Not a good sign. There were 3 male servers huddled around a podium discussing… life? the lack of business? the price of tea? obviously they were not discussing how we had been seated at their bar for 10 mins, I suggested to my friend that we walk out. But then to our wondering eyes should appear a female with a water pitcher. She, too, glanced at us. Behind the bar she filled her pitcher and left. So now we are REALLY getting up to leave and she rushes back to ask us if we needed anything. ??? We ordered drinks. She replies that the guy at the podium has to make our drinks. my friend asked if he makes the drinks here or at the other end of town hehehe so that may have irritated them but this was seriously the worst service ever. We wait another 5 minutes. She comes back to ask if we have been served. We say NO that we are outta here, she says something to the guy and he comes rushing behind the bar and makes our drinks. Stiff. All the while, the other two guys are huddled around this podium doing absolutely nothing. It was the strangest evening I’ve ever experienced in an eating establishment. Almost Twilight Zone-ish. We did not DARE order food so we left buzzed and hungry, vowing to never return.

The foods alright but don’t order through Eat24. This is the second time I ordered and the order takes over 1.5 hours to arrive if not longer. Super annoying, thought it would be better the second time around but I guess not. Never ordering from here again

So yummy! Staff is very friendly and the food came piping hot(and spicy!!). Most of the entrees are put into a bowl, which may make it small, but it’s quite enough. Two entrees and naan bread were enough for my SO and I(with leftovers to spare!). I recommend this place. It’s quite, clean, and the staff are friendly.

Today the owner contacted me directly to apologize. I explained my side and he explained his. This was an uninformed new employee. He was new to the country and thought I was supposed to tip him even after his employer payed him $ 5.- for the delivery. He was not aware that tipping was not mandatory. I think we will try them again.

We ordered online through GrubHub and waited for over 3 hours. The food never arrived! We called the restaurant 3 times. The guy on the phone was rude and dismissive. He said the delivery guy was on his way. Not sure where he was going. Forget about it! That’s no service! Don’t offer delivery service if you can’t deal with it. I just hope we get a refund!

I wish I could comment on the food, but unfortunately the delivery we ordered never came. We ordered through Eat24 and they assisted us in contacting the business, but even they couldn’t get an answer when calling the restaurant. After talking to them, our delivery scheduled for 45 – 60 minutes after our order was placed had still not come, so we had to cancel the order. At this point we received a call presumably from the delivery or business, but the person calling was impossible to understand — garbled and with a poor quality phone, as though they were talking into a microphone placed right in front of their mouth. They called again and left a message, something about the«address was not right» — even though every other place that we’ve ordered from has either delivered without issue or called to try and find out better directions(we live in an apartment building). After this experience, I would recommend not ordering delivery from here. Hopefully their food is good if you sit down.

Pros: clean surroundings, food is cooked to order, friendly wait staff, flavor is decent, never busy. Cons: No Buffett… Ever. Expensive! Online they offer lunch menu with reduced prices for delivery and take out but in the restaurant they only offer dinner prices. Everything on the menu is $ 1 – 3 more expensive then shown on their website. And lastly they play music throughout the restaurant that is a CD they use that continually skips… Lol Not a bad place but there are a few other places nearby that are better and more reasonable in price. Such as Kalia and Café India.

The wonderful thing about Copper pot is, that I cannot only show up with a large group of people and be seated in a short while, but all of the people love the food. The orders range from goat to lamb and vegetarian dishes. The service is wonderful as well.

My husband and I used a living social coupon on a Friday afternoon. We have tried Indian food all over the Seattle area and several places in Vancouver BC. Let me say you don’t have to look any further for top of the line food. The balance of flavors, fresh ingredients and great service was a wonderful meal. I had the chicken kaba and my husband had the lamb boti kaba. Ordered a side of garlic naan. Large pieces of spicy meat cooked properly. Came with rice and the butter sauce on the side. Is it wrong to say I wanted to take a bath in the butter sauce, it was lovely. The naan was light, hot and covered with garlic. Made a good moper for the sauce. We where frequently checked on by the waiter and the manager even stopped and checked on us. WEWILLBEGOINGBACK… SOON;)

My dad and I went here for dinner last night after finding some of our other regular Indian restaurants closed. We ended up discovering that Copper Pot will now be our regular, go-to Indian restaurant! I had the Malai Kofta, my all-time favorite Indian dish. Not all Indian restaurants that I have been to serve this dish, so I was really pleased to see it on the menu. It was among the best I’ve ever had. The sauce was fantastic and the vegetable balls were incredible. Perfect flavors and so so so good! My dad had the Chicken Tikka Masala. I had a bite and it was quite good as well. He really enjoyed his dish. We shared the garlic naan, which was very light, fluffy, and flavorful. A gentleman, who I believe was the owner, brought us complimentary Gulab Jamun for dessert and talked to us a bit about the restaurant and Indian cuisine. He was very friendly and helpful. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Our waiter even brought us some extra rice to take home with our to-go boxes, which was much appreciated. Prices are fairly in line with other Indian restaurants, although they might actually tip more towards the inexpensive end. The only con I might even think about was the fact that it wasn’t an incredibly quick meal. We didn’t have anywhere to be, so we didn’t mind the speed at all. But if you are in the area and grabbing a bite before boarding the ferry, you may want to mention your timeline to your waiter. Overall, we loved our meal here and we will definitely be back again!

My first time here since moving back home to Edmonds– Was really craving Tandoori Chicken. My cravings were not let down. Ordered Tandoori Chicken, a Garlic Naan, and Basil Garlic Naan. A side of Mint Chutney. It came with a red sauce that was a Spicy tomato sauce. So good.. My tastebuds exploded.) The chicken was perfectly moist and flavorful, and the Balsamic rice was perfect as well(rice came with the chicken a huge helping) — The mint chutney was delicious and the whats left of the naans for lunch tomorrow was flavorful and perfect. Just taking home takeout my mother said the whole kitchen smelled delicious — She doesn’t like spicy but really liked the garlic naan. Very affordable– Enough food for two meals for $ 20. I am not that verse to Indian Food– I have had it about 10 times and always get the Tandoori Chicken– Excited to try other menu items here– Food was ready in 20 min– Perfect Experience!

Get their Chicken Korma! Although you can find a good amount of Indian restaurants in the greater Seattle area, I believe Copper Pot is one to add to the list. My husband and I were unsure of what to try so our waitress recommended a few items. — I must warn you that we were advised to get a good amount of dishes to try(and didn’t pay attention to the prices) But we were impressed at the flavor each dish had, which made up for the surprise bill we had. You can also say No to what they recommend anyways. So if you’re in the Edmonds area and craving something exotic, head over to Copper pot, your taste buds will thank you.
