The selection and prices are fine, and I found a glider I really liked that fit well into my budget. The salesman was rather hard to understand with a heavy accent, and the sale price was a little fishy. He told me one thing and then later said he couldn’t give me a discount because he’d already accidentally told me a lower price, and since he was honoring that, he couldn’t give any more discounts. The unfortunate part though, was that it broke within only a couple months of reasonable and appropriate use. We then discovered how horrible their customer service is. Your receipt will say«no returns» all over it in bold letters and give no information about a warranty. But keep it anyways, because as the manager told us, he «keeps no records» for any of his business transactions. Either he has horrible business practices or is a downright liar. I’m guessing liar since the original receipt yielded three copies and it’s still well within the business tax year. He said he «sends it all to his accountant» and refused to ask that accountant in order to help us out, «it’s not my job» he told us, and«it’s not my fault you broke the chair.» With the way he said all of this so rudely, I honestly doubt that even if we had the receipt he would have fixed the problem.

The staff at this furniture store were way less pushy than others I’ve been too. They let us just look around for a really long time before trying to make a sale. The owner bargained with us, of course, and took the tax and delivery fee off of a couch/loveseat combo. They delivered it to my house at exactly the time they said they would be there, and were careful to put the couches exactly where I wanted them. While the«deal» offered to us wasn’t a phenomenal discount, the price was fair and very comparable to what I found online, and I would rather support a local, family-owned business. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience and would definitely shop there again.

I found this to be a decent furniture store, with a decent selection of items and prices that I found comparable to other lower-cost furniture places in the area. It is a family-run business, and a member of the family is always hovering, willing to help you buy as much as possible. The thing that turned me off the most about this place, however, was the hovering. It was like walking onto a used car lot. A salesman was instantly at your side, and even if you politely said, «we’re just looking, but thanks anyway,» they will follow you at a distance through the large store. And if you pause to express interest in an item, or look at a couch for more than five seconds… the salesman materializes at your side, promising to make you«good deal» on the piece. It is an okay place, but the used car lot feel really turned me off.
