This is a perfectly fine housewares store in lovely Edmonds. However, one of the things I appreciate about Unilocal is the chance to comment on service. One woman here was very helpful and friendly. The other one, unfortunately, was one of those people who have become an adult and still managed to keep the assumption, (after high school!) that moneyed trappings make some people better than others. And, even worse, who apparently thinks it’s fine to pass judgment on her customers and then treat them in a condescending, rude, and curt manner. I would never go back here because of that – after a purchase! I would think a small shop in a small town would make a greater effort to have its employees keep their pretensions to themselves and treat everyone equally. It was gross and, frankly, depressing.

Cute little shop with lots of great stuff for the home. This would be a perfect place to go for a small Mother’s Day or birthday gift for someone. Also great for gifts for in-laws or weddings.
I liked the scented candles — from Thai Silk to On The Beach, they all smelled delicious. Better than the pricey Yankee candles I always get!
Being a fan of the Pottery Barn, I was impressed with this business’ prices. Most of the shops in Edmonds are privately owned so I usually expect them to carry a hefty price-tag — not this store!
