Great place for a pedicure! Close to everything, located on Main Street. After a long day on my feet I was looking for a relaxing pedicure. I walked in and they were able to see me within 45 minutes(just enough time to enjoy the local stores). Very friendly staff. I had the green tea pedicure. Very nice! Loved the massage with the hot stones! I will definitely return.

They do a meticulous and great job here. Very friendly staff and they have been great with my four year old who likes getting her nails done too. They only charged 5 for my daughters nails and I paid 12. This is a very inexpensive and quality place to get your mani/pedi!

This is a great nail place on Main Street! The owner was very nice and did a great job. The manicure was $ 12 including tax. She was very careful. I’m on day 5 and they still look decent which is great for a normal manicure(not shellac). I can’t quite give them 5 stars because the setting is pretty bare bones but the service they offer is good quality!

I really want to support the edmonds community and businesses but I keep being disappointed by them. Kara Nail was especially disappointing. I normally get pedis pretty regularly, but with the craziness of life I haven’t had one in over 6 months. So I very excited, and in need of a treat for my feet! Unfortunately despite only having one other customer(who got 2x as long of massage than me-) they rushed through everything and didn’t spend muchh time on my feet. Plus they charge 25 $ rather Than the typical 15 – 20 $. So I toped 5 $ even though it was awful– so I walked out spending $ 30… I could have done a much better job myself– and put that money towards a new piece of clothing or dinner… I Will not be going back…

My daughter and I did a walk-in service. I felt a bit rushed by the gal who did mine. I think her cell was more important. But the gal who worked on my daughter took her time. My daughter’s nails turned out beautiful!

To kill time while my fiancé was in a business meeting, I decided to drop in to receive a shellac manicure. They promptly sat me with a younger girl who did an excellent job on my nails. The experience itself was very short, I was in and out in a matter of 20 minutes. Overall was a good manicure, the price was a little more than what I am used to.($ 35 before tip).

I was here in town visiting and after 3 months on a boat I really need it a mani and pedi. On the window they advertised gel polish(I like that because last long when your traveling), so I went in. They do take walk in, very nice girls. She did a really good job with the pedi until it was time for the gel polish. They do gel polish in manicures but not on pedi, I ask why, they didn’t have an answer. Just they don’t do it. Mani and pedi with gel polish only hands $ 80.00. But my toes and hands are happy.

I’ve been here several times now and haven’t had anything less than a great experience. I’ve tried most of the other salons in town and have decided this is my nail salon going forward. I like the copper tubs, the friendly staff and the long-lasting pedicure.

Id like to start by saying i have never given a review on anything with less than 3 stars. My experience here was just that bad. I was quoted 10 dollars for a color change and file down. When i left they charged me 20. I was told it was due to having acrylics which is more work to file down. I was already in the shop when they said 10. I paid because im not the obnoxious argumentative type. I simply will not go again. Also i wanted my nails file sharper/pointed tip. Barely shorter. They made my nails tiny to the point of shaving off some of my real nails. It wasnt pointed more rounded than anything. I was afraid to ask for more pointed/sharper because they already made them so short. The polish chipped the next day. They didnt clean up the filings from under my nails. It looked dirty and i could still see residue from the prior polish even after they painted my nails. From the time i was in the chsir getting my nails done till the time she finished was 45 minutes. So slow.(Single color polish no design) Never going back. She burned me while filing twice.

Ok. It seems that not many recent reivews have been updated, so I am doing with one positive vote. I am having my eyelashes done from this shop and today was my second time. By far, it’s one of the best eyelash service that I had. First, the owner is really working hard in detail. And my first lashes did not get off for more than 3 weeks. It was a miracle. And I went for a touch-up although my lashes were not off much. It was quick and professional as well as detalied-work. I also got a frech manicure and eyebrow waxing. I usually don’t like french manicure with erasing after putting on polish; I like painting at once. They DID exactly what I like and it was gorgeous! Eye brow waxing is also decent and quick. Finally the atmosphere is clean, simple but elegant. This is a personal taste(minor point) but I like polishes on the wall are all with similar color; look elegant, not messy. They had a simple but good and welcoming atmosphere. This is a little far away from my place but I don’t mind driving 25 mins to get my lashes done and manicure! :D

I’m a person who would never let anyone touch my nails besides myself. I can do a better job since I take my time doing it and most nail salons tries to get you done ASAP so they can take another client. But what can you do when you chip a nail while driving to work? Kara Nail’s is right across the street so why not? Nice, clean and bright shop and greeted immediately. All I Wanted was a color change. French tip please! I had dark purple nails before and she took the time to make sure that all of the polish was gone. She did the french tip a little different than other nail techs but it came out a lot better. Instead of using polish and then cleaning up the line, she just drew on the tips! But she did put on base coat before to make sure it sticks. Then goes some OPI sheer pink and then the HK girl pink. Then the top coat. Watching her put on so many layers on my nails at first got me worried. But I was so wrong. The polish lasted about 2 weeks! And I’m a person who washes my hands at least 15 times a day. So if your ever in the area… you should give them a try!

My toes looked pretty, but the way she exfoliated my feet seemed to make my feet more dry and peely — - oppsite reason I go in for a pedi!!! Nancy’s nails in downtown edmonds on 5th ave is MUCH better! I won’t be going back

They do a good job on nails and pedicures. However, I don’t much appreciate the service. The employee speak loudly among themselves during the service, which is very annoying, in my opinion. When I have the time to get a pedicure, I would like some peace and quiet. Also, they let clients speak loudly on cellphones. Please!!!
