Sound Irrigation

On the advice of my landscape contractor, I had called another firm (with a very similar name: Soundview) to have my irrigation system winterized. Although I called that other firm three times, they never bothered to call me back. After doing some research on Unilocal and Angie’s List, I called Sound Irrigation, and I am very glad I did. Besides seeming to be very nice people, they are very responsive and came out less than a week after I called.
I’m having them back in the spring to get the system ready for another watering season.

Thank you Mike! This project was a critical item for me earlier this Spring, and you really delivered to my expectations!
Mike really listened to what I wanted in an automated irrigation system. (After years of deliberation and homegrown manual irrigation system attempts, I had some unique ideas.) Not once did he try to convince me that I didn’t know what I wanted or that what I really wanted/​needed was much more exten$ive. He even took the time to restate what I had explained and walk through everything element of the system with me before providing a bid to ensure he fully understood what I wanted.
He gave a reasonable bid, worked closely with me on scheduling to ensure timing, work days, and completion all met my crazy schedule needs, and everything was put back together in a way that even I could barely remember where he had dug. Upon completion of the installation, he clearly explained the timer and all system components, as well as what else I could do with the system in the future, if I chose to expand or further adapt it to my needs. Also, the timer he chose seems intuitive and unobtrusive while offering ample system and zone scheduling flexibility.
Now, I have lawn sprinklers, bedding irrigation, automated watering on my veggie garden, and even micro lines for pots and starts.
My neighbors have expressed how «park-​like» my yard looks this Spring, how my purple rockcress delights them every morning as they drive away, and how much envy they are harboring over my syste,. ;) Of course, I mention your name and business to ensure you get the credit!

Some friends got their irrigation done by S.I. recently. Mike is great. Totally dependable. Does the work himself. I appreciate the fact that the owner who knows what he’s doing is the one that actually does the work.
And I love the fact that the yard isn’t destroyed to put in the irrigation. Nothing worse than a great sprinkler system to just water dirt patches.
If only they would move to Southern California.

I am surprised that the other 2 reviews are so wonderful. We had a TERRIBlE experience with Mike and Sound Irrigation. He started a job in the fall and now in July it is still not done! After countless emails and phone calls he claims he was going to finish the job but has not. We are going with another company. Plus, he just comes into my backyard without notifying me first, and that is just not cool. Yes, we spoke to him about that.
