A confusing restaurant. Pizza or filipino restaurant. Sign says no pizza today but it’s everyday. Food just okay. I don’t know how to cook filipino foods but when I do get my mom’s recipe to try and make it. This place can’t even compare.

I’ve had mixed experiences here, but one experience kind of colored every other time I considered coming here. The first few times I ate here, not even being Filipino or having spent time in the Philippines(so, I wouldn’t be the best judge of good Filipino food, so to speak, but I’ve had pretty darn good Filipino food before, in South Seattle, and at certain homes with Filipino moms, etc.), I had a good experience, and I thought the food was pretty darn good, especially for what I was paying. The lady in charge was very kind as well. Then, some time later on,(a good 4 – 5 months later or so) I came once and noticed that they were not open, when they should have already been open. This was around 12:10 noon or so, I can’t really remember that well. Anyway, they had their hours listed on the door, but the hours listed apparently were not the hours they were really open for business… I knocked on the door, repeatedly(fairly loud, but not rudely loud), as I saw someone in the back, but no one came to the door. Huh. I was like, «Ok…», and left. I’ve never been back. Not really sure what was going on there, but, I mean, I had to EAT, and I have things to do, I can’t just sit around and wait for the doors to open an hour after they should have been opened… So I went next door to the Teriyaki/Asian place(yeah, they have the same old, same old stuff, with a bit of sushi, but at least they’re dependable). I mean, what the heck???

After a few visits, I decided that this place is terrible. I will not be coming back. Possibly microwaved food and the leche flan had a weird taste. The tapioca pearls were hard. But the pancit was okay.

I used to always wonder why there were never any filipino restaurants around — but if you know any filipinos, you know that you don’t need a restaurant to eat their food because(most) filipino mommies are not short of any skills in the kitchen and(most) filipino mommies will glady feed you. «have you eaten???» Anyway. When I saw this place pop up I thought I’d give it a shot for the sheer shock that a filipino restaurant had opened somewhat near my house. Unfortunately the time spent here was time I will never get back. I’ve never had bad filipino food until I came here. Their lumpia was disgusting, pancit was bad, adobo was blah — nothing about this place was good. Nothing. I’m even shocked it’s still open. Maybe the few handfuls of mommas who have cooked for me were the best few handfuls to ever cook in the world or maybe, this place just sucks. Apparently they have pizza now, and apparently it’s good? I’m befuddled.

First off, WOW, what GREAT pizza! A friend and I were in the mood for some good, affordable pizza, but didn’t feel like calling Domino’s or Pizza Hut. Drove by, and saw the word«PIZZA» outside of the building, and gave them a shot. We ordered a extra large combo with garlic cheese sticks, the total was under $ 25! Got it home, and holy moly, it was amazing! Call them and ask for their specials, their answer will surprise you!

This place is not good. We actually went back a second time hoping it would be better… but no. One danger sign is that both times, we were the only customers in the place for the duration of the meal. We ordered Sisig, Dinuguan, and pork or chicken adobo(cant remember which). It all tasted as if it had been reheated in a microwave. I ordered Adobong Pusit(squid) on our second trip, and it tasted like CANNED squid, which is one of the worst things you can have the displeasure of eating. The customer service is indifferent and certainly nothing special. I don’t really see how the place stays in business.

Filapino food(pampanga style) in a tiny restaurant tucked into a small shopping center near Edmonds. Walking into this place, I felt like I was intruding into someone’s family dining room with long tables set up for the next reunion. The food was tasty but only lukewarm in temperature. I think someone forgot to light the warmer candles under the buffet-style serving containers. The person serving me disappeared into the back and for the remainder of my meal, I didn’t see anyone until someone came in who obviously knew the cook and who was welcomed warmly into the kitchen. Silly me. I thought customer service was actually practiced in small family restaurants!
