Dewey’s Pizza

I love this pizza place. There is something for everyone on the menu. My husband and kids love it, as well as out of town guests who have eaten there with us. My kids love watching the pizza makers rolling out the dough. We will definitely be back for more.

Harvest salad is back, probably their best one it is delicious. However, they charge a lot for this salad. For $ 6 it was the size of a McDonald’s $ 1 side salad and the toppings were very skimpy so while this is my favorite salad, I’ll be making it at home in the future because it’s just not worth the money any more – and the larger one is a similar poor value for the money. Had a calzone instead of my regular pizza and the «moose drool» American brown ale which was fabulous, sort of like smooth darker Abita Amber. Even my husband liked it, is it made with genuine moose drool? LOL just kidding. The calzone was undercooked so it went back for some more oven time but I’ve been eating at Dewey’s on a regular basis since 2007 and this was the first time I’ve ever sent anything back, which is more than I can say for a lot of places. It came back just right, and the star deduction is for the pitifully tiny $ 6 salad that is just way overpriced for what you get. My husband said his pizza was very good, but it was also way undercooked even though we always order it well done so i lopped another star for that. For a lot of years this was one of my favorite places, but it’s not what it used to be.

We had a party of three, ordered the Socrates revenge pizza and had the grecian salad, they were delicious! Wonderful compliment to each other. Our wait staff was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was also enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Went here to eat and we’re very impressed. Had a harvest salad, which was excellent. We had a pizza that was half mushroom, the other was the Bronx bomber. They had a totally different taste from one another, but that’s what made it so good! The staff was quite friendly and our waitress was very knowledgeable on their product. We will definitely be back!!!

This was my first time at Deweys and I only wandered in because another restaurant I wanted to eat at had an hour wait. Their was a modest 15 min wait at Deweys at 7pm on a Friday night. When you walk down the long hallway to rhe bar and hostess stand, the first thing that caught my eue was the glass windows where you can see the pizza makers at their finest. Talk about enticing!
Let me just say that this place has excellent pizza! We ordered the Ryan’s Inferno (buffalo chicken style pizza) with a ceasar salad. They also offer craft beer (I ordered the 4 Hands wheat ale from St. Louis) Their pizza dough is chewy and flaky… NY style and delicious! The toppings were fresh and cheese was gooey.
The service was excellent. Servers stopped by multiple times to refill drinks and check in on us even though it was busy. Will definitely be back!

Great customer service. One of the best around. Wait times for seating can be a little long during peak dinner periods.

Love this place. Great pizza, great beer… Had a specialty taco pizza that i hope returns! Nice pizza joint, would really recommend!

LOVE! I can gets really tasty salad and my husband can get awesome pizza. Their seasonal Harvest salad with Chicken is yummy!

We love Dewey’s pizza!!! I’ve never been a fan of STL style pizza, or Chicago deep dish, but Dewey’s takes the best of NYC style pizza (the only kind IMHO) and adds incredible combinations. Their seasonal offerings are excellent. Try the Porky Fig pizza and the Harvest Fall salad while they offer it!

I visited here on 7−5−15, and had a great meal with awesome, friendly service as well! The pizza was hot and the ingredients were very fresh. I will definitely go back!

My wife and I had been wanting to try Dewey’s out for sometime but always found our way to other great places to eat in the area. We stopped in today for lunch to try them out.
We enjoyed it very much. We ordered two separate 11″ pizzas and the polite waitress suggested to half and half medium pizza to save $ 6.
The pizza was very tasty. We had a meatball and the Ryan’s inferno pizza (Buffalo chicken). It arrived promptly and fresh. They also kept our drinks full.
The entire place including the rest rooms are very clean.
Very affordable and great tasting food. So why just 4 stars??? It is a bit loud and hard to hear each other. Now this is a small issue and really does not take anything away from the entire experience.
Bottom line 4 and ¾ stars for the entire dinning experience.

I was invited to a birthday celebration here and it did not disappoint. The place seemed super packed and busy but you would never know because our waiter was great. He even let me sample a beer to make sure I liked it before I ordered.
I shared the Bronx Bomber with a friend and it was just the perfect size. I think I had a piece leftover to eat the next day for breakfast. Pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, black olives, all generously distributed onto a deliciously crusted pie. But really the crust is the best part and probably the reason I would go back again. If you like seasonal beers and pizza crust, definitely visit.

We just tried the calzones as a carry out — wonderful! These things are huge; one is enough for 2 moderate eaters. Loved the options including the «gourmet» add-​ons such as pine nuts and sundried tomatoes. At $ 8 per calzone, which would feed 2, this is a more economical way to enjoy Dewey’s without paying top dollar for a pizza. Don’t tell Dewey’s I told you this or they will increase the calzone price!

Find a menue, order a pizza, you’ll love it. Salads are awesome. Staff is exceptional!

Good pizza!
We had a house special pizza with mushrooms, garlic, artichoke hearts. Very good, thinner style.
Grape and walnut salad was very good! I would get that again for sure!
Carry out was a good option for Saturday night. The line was at least 20 people deep!

Big dining area, very clean, nice atmosphere, friendly staff.
The House Salad was GREAT! Highly recommend. It made me realize that thing I like best about salad was BACON!
We got a large ½ cheese,½ pepperoni… cuz we roll gangster like that. It was super yummy in our tummy-​tum-​tumkins. Even our ankle bitters loved it.

Went in here once, and it was alright. It wasn’t good or bad, nor did anything was enough to impress me. Everyone seemed to make this place sound special; I just thought it wasn’t any different from their competition.

best pizza near home! service is always pleasant even when it’s packed. Try the salad with the candied walnuts and grapes!

Went here for a birthday dinner. The staff was pleasant and quickly accommodated our party of 7 and got us settled in.
Waitress was friendly and happy to explain some of the various toppings and sauces they use. Pizza was very good. Could have used a little more of the toppings but everything tasted great, nice flakey crust. I highly recommend trying at least a half pizza with their house white garlic sauce. It’s very good and a fun change from typical tomato pizza sauce.
