What can I say?! Really. Its just a small town bar with great food located somewhere between corn fields and a lake… Gilz never disappoints! They have a great menu, the food is good, and the drinks are cold. My favorite menu item is the Buffalo Chx sandwich with there dog sauce (its like a sweet and spicy), its so simple but so dang good! and since Growlers has closed, this has been my go to place for a great buff chx sandwich. The side salad is good, and they give you a ton of dressing, which is nice bc I hate when you have to ask more dressing.
My dad always orders the Alaskan white fish, which is really good too. Some of the best fish around… my better half ordered the wings (½ bourbon and ½ dog sauce) and the southwest chicken wrap. he said the bourbon sauce was a little too sweet, but the dog sauce (like I stated) was really good. Never had anything bad here, and I’ve been going here for years…

100% hit or miss on crowd size. But totally awesome bartenders and food. Random bands are usually pretty good. Always a fun time.

Also a great place to visit for karaōke if you don’t want to wait for a long time for your turn. Usually will get you up within a couple of songs
