I still love the fashions that these stores offer. That hasn’t changed. The sharp decline in my opinion of Maurice’s stores is due to the fact that they seem to have become quite relaxed regarding their hiring standards. Employees offered to help, then became confrontational when I came to them with questions. Other times, I had to hunt down employees after being ignored for most of my visit, and was met with the same annoyance. I was once an excellent, Layla customer, but now take my business elsewhere.

Cute clothes. Some good deals. Very unfriendly, unhelpful sales people. Wound up spending a fortune and security device was left on one pair of my daughters pants. Of course didnt set off alarm until we had to drive all way back a week later to get security tag taken off then alarm went off coming in the store!!! Not impressed.
