I stopped using hellers 2 years ago best switch I ever did They were constantly $ 0.50-$ 1/gallon more than every one else they had a million excuses as to why, I didn’t use enough for reduced rate, other companies offer low rates to lure you in everytime I got a fill up had to argue and manager would finally issue a credit had enough and switched to another company, no problems with rates since rate I get charged is fair market same as my neighbors and everyone else have not been overcharged since switching

Heller’s gas company is one of the most unprofessional, horribly run companies I have ever dealt with. Sold our house and called to transfer the service to new owners. Heller gas doesn’t do that. After the sale they leave a note on the door. Really? And no compensation for the 80+ gallons of propane left in the tank. Last gas company we dealt with(suburban), transferred the service and credited us with the remaining propane. Do yourself a favor and find another propane supplier.

Do NOT do business with this company. There service is the absolute worst… Get this… They leased me a 200 gallon tank. It was installed … I paid for the Gas… and they sent an employee to take the tank away. Basically, they stole the gas back AFTER I paid for it. No explanation. no phone call … just came and stole the gas back. And Wait… Get this… is was during a deep freeze… left me without heat.

If you’re thinking of using Heller’s Gas Company as your propane supplier and are concerned about customer service and on time delivery think again! We recently hired Heller’s to supply propane to heat our home after becoming dissatisfied with our old gas company. Our experience has been aggravating to say the least. After installing our tanks I believed that the connection was leaking because of abnormally high gas consumption. When I brought my concerns to their attention I was told«Well sir, it’s been a cold winter». REALLY? I’m sorry but I’ve spent the entire winter under a rock and didn’t notice! Then she said if I wanted them to check the connection they would send a service man out at $ 150.00! REALLY? They’re your tanks and you installed them just a short month or two ago! Then, at the last billing cycle they gave me an invoice with their wrong mailing address which they admitted was their fault but refused to deliver gas because I hadn’t paid in full. REALLY? So they allowed me to run out of gas and could not care less even though I was able to prove my payment went through via my bank. Now I’m about to run out again and they have missed two promised delivery dates. I know it’s intentional and I know they are playing games but any calls to their office gets a condescending attitude. When you ask to speak to the manager you suddenly learn where his team learned to be so condescending to customers. They have learned from the Master! Their boss! I can’t wait to tell them to get their f’in tanks out of my yard!
