It’s always great to find a *real* shoe store, and Allen’s Shoes is a great example. During my one visit, Cynthia was a friendly and knowledgeable salesperson and helped make my transaction quick and simple.
Allen’s carries shoes oriented towards serious runners or people in need of orthopedic support, including, but not limited to, New Balance, Merrell, and Dansko. Their prices are right around the MSRP, though they also carried a respectable clearance rack with half-​priced items. I got a pair of Merrell Word Ramblers for the same price as I would have gotten them online, which is great for a local store.
I’ll definitely be returning for my next pair of shoes.
