I love Jalapenos. This location is just as good as the one in Margate! My absolute go to is either a salad or a wrap. Usually a salad and they have a lot of options as well as a build your own. I pretty much always do the«build your own» just because I like certain flavor combinations and can add or remove things as I wish. The salad and veggies and other toppings are always super fresh and full of flavor! I have never once had a bad piece of lettuce in my salad, and I LOVE their avocado ranch dressing! Plus, the salad also comes with warm Pita… delicious! You can get wraps with a jalapeño, whole wheat, spinach, or plain wrap, and they have tons of options for what you can order. Again, I like to build my own because I basically have my flavor combos here down to a science, but I can always go for their chicken Caesar option; its a classic! When I build my own, I usually get: Spring mix salad, corn, black beans, fresh avocado, chicken, carrots, cheese, broccoli, cucumber, and whatever else strikes my fancy! You always get a lot of food for your money here. The salads are pretty big and I can usually either share it with someone or have it as 2 light meals. A few times I have gotten a quesadilla or nachos, and they are good. Not greasy at all and really flavorful. Their smoothies are also fantastic. On a hot day, a smoothie or parfait is a nice treat. Staff is always friendly and they cater too!

Jalapeños and Salads is a great place for a nice and healthy lunch. The staff is amazing at this location. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, and they will happily to customize your order however you’d like it prepared. I would highly recommend Jalapeños and Salads to anyone looking for a fresh lunch option in the Egg Harbor Township area.

Fresh food. Love this one. The food is made perfectly. Seasoned great and always flavorful. Staff is very courteous. Only dislike is that they charge you for EVERYTHING. The smoothies are also very good and freshly made. One of my fav places for a healthy, quick bite.

This is one of my favorite local places for lunch. Fresh ingredients, consistently friendly helpful staff. I usually build my own salad. Good variety of romaine, spinach iceberg lettuce(customers choice), lots of toppings, from fresh carrots, beans, tomatoes, salsa, guacamole, etc. I’d also like to see humus and some additional fresh herbs as a choice. They also make fresh smoothies. What I love about their smoothies is fresh fruit without added sugar. So many places soak their fruit in a sugar mix. They have one or two choices like that but also offer fresh strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, bananas etc. I debated between 4 or 5 stars. Four because it’s not wow unique etc. But 5 because they consistently deliver a fresh healthy meal. I ended up with 5 because the staff is just great. They are fast, efficient, friendly and helpful without much turnover. I choose this place more often then anywhere else for lunch.

Best salad joint on the island. These guys know what I want when I walk in the door. Veggies are always fresh, and portions are large.

Salad/wrap restaurant, very affordable, not much selection, but they do have amazing REAL fruit shakes. They have tacos, and sandwiches also, but personally I only like their cold wraps and salads.

I no longer live in the area but when I do visit, Jalapeños is a MUST. They always have fresh ingredients & friendly staff. Not to mention that the warm pitas they serve with the salad are the best! Since moving out of the area I have craved this place because there are on «make-your-own-salad» places here. I definitely took Jalapeños for granted before I moved! Will definitely be back every time I am in town!

Tonight me and my boyfriend decided to go get some tacos… I have to say it was a bad choice coming here. I had chicken tacos, the guy asked if I wanted spicy or regular chicken, I asked for the spicy with the works, when I got home. The tacos weren’t even luke warm, they were cold and had zero taste to them. I had to add hot sauce and seasoning to remotely enjoy the 3 tacos I got for $ 6. I would not recommend anyone going there unless you’re drunk or have no taste buds. I was disappointed since the first time I went I had a chicken caesar wrap that was pretty good.

like that you can choose your own salad. there is a pretty good variety of ingredients to choose from. the place seems clean, it is basically like a cafeteria, you walk up and pick your salad at the counter and then go sit.

I been here a few times. It’s like Saladworks mixed with Moe’s Mexican. The staff is always friendly and polite and the food/veggies have always been fresh and everything looks clean… The prices are great and everything is pretty customizable so you start developing your favorites. It’s your basic quick and easy take out spot where the food is pretty good… I just had a burrito bowl from there, and I’m full for under $ 5. Can’t complain.

Jalapenos and Salads gets 2.5 stars from me. I’ve been here several times since they opened. I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve never been blown away either. I can think of many reasons J&S is a great place to grab a quick bite. I can also think of a few reasons why it’s not. Salads are why you come to J&S. Not the burritos, not the tacos, and not the wraps. Any of these items may be decent, but I’ve learned my lesson(see my review of East Bay Crab and Grille): I’m no longer mixing food genres. Seafood is purchased from a seafood restaurant, pizza is ordered from a pizzeria, and salads get eaten at the Jalapenos and Salads Company. J&S has a variety of salad ideas, and they also have a «build-your-own» option: pick a green, pick veggies, pick a cheese, pick a protein, pick a fruit, pick dry toppings, and pick a dressing. They have a variety of salad dressings here. I’ve made the mistake of ordering the fat-free versions of them before. Don’t do that. They may be fat free, but they are so damn sweet, they’ve got to be loaded with sugar. I always order the south of the border salad(iceberg romaine, 2 cheeses, tomatoes, pico de gallo, olives, bean & corn mix, tricolor tortilla strips and either chicken or beef.) They offer small and large sizes… but I ordered a small last night and it was really just a smaller bowl, with the food piled in a gigantic mound. So basically whether you order a small or a large, you’re getting a large. They also give you a choice of a roll or pita bread, white or wheat. The food, at least in my experience, is tasty and fresh. Last night, especially, I could taste the grill marks on the chicken… I was a fan. J&S is also incredibly inexpensive. 2 salads and a bottled water last night for $ 17. Try doing that at Saladworks!!! Somebody commented that the food looks better than it tastes, and I’m ambivalent about this. The food is displayed through glass, and when you’re looking at all the greens and reds and fruits and vegetables, it’s enticing. I think it tricks our brains into thinking we’re going to get hit with a TKO of flavor… keep in mind, it’s just a salad. That you’re paying $ 7.50 for. You’re asking kind of a lot of a $ 7.50 salad. Jalapenos and Salads is also partnered with the California Fruit Shake company. I loooove the Sea Breeze, and I usually pick one up when I’m at the ghost town formerly known as the Hamilton Mall, but they’re always so damn sweet. Problem solved: J&S doesn’t put the sorbet mixtures in their shakes like their freestanding mall counterpart. The shakes come out less sweet and with a lot less sugar… and cheaper! The staff is friendly here, and the place is always clean. The reason I couldn’t give J&S 3 stars is that boyfriend was sick yesterday after eating the NY Waldorf Salad. Not vomitous sick, but uncomfortable and achy. His stomach is a looot more sensitive than mine, even though I’m the one whose had their stomach sliced open and removed. But if something makes him sick, I have to at least take it into consideration. Jalapenos and Salads company is a good choice if you’re shopping in the area and want a quick and inexpensive lunch. But like I said earlier, don’t expect too much of a place located next to the Shore Mall where you’re paying $ 17 for 2 meals.

It is great when you wonder around looking for place for lunch and you have all types of special needs and you find that great place. Jalapenos is a great salad store in the shore mall with a mexican flavor. Great soups and salds at avery reasonable price. The staff was friendly and polite. Great lunch spot.
