Shoprite of English Creek

This is one of the nicest Shop Rites that I have been to in forever. Agreed chain grocery stores are pretty much the same, give or take a few things here and there. But I found this one to have a few key traits that were uncommon to find. Here are my 2 cents:
— Produce section is always well stocked with fresh produce. I have never had any problem getting the rarest of things — whether in season or not. Simple example: so easy to be disappointed when peppers section has only one kind of peppers or max 2. Not here. Starting from the regular greens, yellow, reds et al, you find abundant quantities of habanero, jalapenos, chili, even thai green /​red peppers — in good quantities too.
— Deli section is full of such great choices. I was surprised how good the quality of the deli salads was — especially the chicken and the macaroni salads,
— The fresh meat section also has such good deals on pretty much every meat type. Chicken, steak, pork chops, etc. Even the ground meats available were surprisingly many. I judge by the availability of fresh ground chicken and turkey apart from the expected ground meat.
— The choices in the ethnic aisles was so awesome. More often than not, I never find the specific brand of coconut milk or soft tortillas or the non sriracha hot sauce I am looking for. Not an issue here. I can easily get hold of my favorite hot Thai curry sauce specifically where it usually is.
— Parking: Despite being in a huge strip mall, parking is never an issue. I appreciate this even more, coming from Boston suburbs that getting in and out of stores like this is such a gift — of sorts!
— Finally, the staff here is really nice. They know how to keep things in order and take care of the store in general. I have never once come across aisles messed up, empty or in a bad shape. Shopping experience is always hassle free. What more can you ask from a good grocery store?!

It’s Starns. I like them and they would be five stars but they don’t carry all of the selections that I’d like.
