Great overall experience. From my salesperson Stacy to Carla in scheduling to the awesome guys that installed the countertops. Professionalism and customer service throughout the process. Thanks so much for a job well done!

We recently made a big move, combining our city home and our beach home into our ‘forever’ home. Redoing the kitchen was at the top of the list. We spent a lot of time with design and planning, because we knew we would be here a long time. We heard Stone Crafters was a great place to find countertops. Our experience with them has been anything but great. It’s not a large kitchen and the counters aren’t overly long, so when we were told there ‘might’ be a seam we figured the natural seam would be where the stove sits. We had purchased an undermount cast iron sink which meant they would be taking the sink along with them when they prepared the counters. The whole process took a few weeks. When they arrived we were so excited it would finally be done… until we saw they had created a seam right through the middle of the sink! I tried to stop them, beg them, cajole… nope. The guy insisted, «I’m the best at what I do and you will never notice this seam.» WRONG! After about 2 hours trying to make something that wasn’t even necessary disappear he failed miserably. It was glaringly obvious and in less than a week had turned yellow. It makes me want to cry every time I look at it. We withheld the final payment because we wanted this replaced as it should be. There best offer was that we pay them $ 1750.00 to redo the piece, in addition to the $ 1200.00 balance!!! We went to court yesterday to settle this. The result sucks. We went through mediation and ended up paying them $ 600.00 and being stuck with this awful counter with a crack in it. At the hearing we saw their template for our counter for the FIRSTTIME. We had not been offered the chance to see it before it was cut. Had we seen it we would have said«NO». But they had a vague clause in the contract that pretty much gives them carte blanche to do whatever they want. Obviously they wanted to keep a piece of our slab to make a vanity for someone else, hence double dipping. We find them despicable and wouldn’t recommend them to our worst enemy!
