Wings To Go

Great wings with plenty of flavors to choose from. The cook prepares them fast as well.

I can’t even lie, I love Wings To Go. I’ve been coming here for about 2 years, and I’ve really never been less than thrilled.
They have a huge selection of sauces for aforementioned wings. My favorite is the buffalo garlic; it’s spicey and tangy and juicy and so so good. Medium flavor is great too, as is the lemon pepper. As an avid Indian food lover, I’ve always wanted to try the curry flavor, but when I asked last time I was told it was unavailable. Oh well.
They also have Cheseapeake bay flavor, Caribbean jerk, and honey bbq.
As far as the protein that goes underneath your chosen sauce (you did want something to eat that sauce ON, right?), WTG has several options: bone-​in wings, boneless tenders, and buffalo shrimp; as well as an assortment of wraps, salads, and sandwiches. You can get 5 pieces to 100 pieces of your desired chicken/​shrimp. I’d like to qualify this review by saying that I have only had the wings… but realistically, why else would you order from a place called «Wings To Go???»
The ladies who own this establishment are very sweet, and they will do their best to accomodate your order. For example, I used to like my wings a little more well-​done and crispy. As long as I asked for it, never a problem. The biggest reason I’m a fan of WTG is this: after surgery, a lot of foods make me sick. Especially those that are overly greasy/​buttery/​fattening. I’ve been sick from wings I’ve tried elsewhere… not at Wings To Go! I’ve successfully eaten 4 garlic buffalo wings in a sitting and not had the slightest experience of discomfort. This leads me to believe they’re not using an overabundance of butter and disgustingness in their sauces… bravo, WTG.
Do note, they are cash only. They’re also located in a somewhat shady strip mall. I’m pretty sure the massage parlor next door is of the happy-​ending variety. I can see the logic… lots of people enjoy eating afterwards.
Lastly, WTG gets a big thumbs up for their pricing. Boyfriend and I ordered a 30 piece buffalo garlic last Sunday. They’re running a special on Sundays right now where if you order 30 wings, you get 10 free. Happy surprise for us! Anyway, we ended up getting 40 delicious wings (of which I had 4, and boyfriend apparently had 36… go figure) for $ 20!!! Come on, you can’t beat that!!!
