I hate to give anyone 1 star but I just have to do it here. They have been in business for better than 25 years and nothing has ever changed except that they now have some competition in the area. I have been a reluctant customer for many of those years. Reluctant because there was nowhere else to buy a firearm. Because they were the only game in town, I put up with their shitty attitude, an attitude that was passed down from one generation of ownership to the next. And the lousy attitude of the employees comes from the top down.
Now for specifics. Very poor inventory & selection of firearms. Barely a case of handguns, a few shotguns and long guns. Almost everything has to be special ordered. Prices are way higher than you can buy them for at stocking dealers and they will not price match. Ammo prices are also overpriced as are most of their limited stock of accessories. When you ask to see something in a case it is almost like you are bothering them. Considering there is hardly ever anyone in the parking lot and even fewer in the store, they should be excited for the diversion created by a customer entering the store.
There return policy is horrible. They will only give a store credit, even when they made the mistake by selling the wrong product for your needs and cannot get what you wanted.
I now shop at Shooters Sporting Center (just off the Garden State Pky exit 58: east about ¹⁄₈ mile). Shooters has a great selection of handguns, shotguns, long guns, archery, fishing, clothing and more, including an indoor range. You can spend hours just browsing the Shooters on your first visit. Their staff is knowledgable, friendly and always willing to help. Rental guns are available to shoot before you buy. Shooters is like a mini Bass Pro or Cabalas. Speaking of which, there is now a Bass Pro in Atlantic City and Bangers Sporting Center in Hammonton.
So with buying choices to the north, the east and west and after my last attempted purchase at Zeus I will NEVER set foot in there again.
Clearly, I would not recommend them to a friend.

At one time this was” thee” place in Atlantic County to get hunting supplies/​equipment. Prices are a bit more expensive but a very good place to find quality and specialized hunting supplies/​equipment (shot guns, pistols, ammunition, bow/​arrow). Great selection for hunting and outdoor clothing. Staff are very knowledgeable.
