This place is delicious! The food is a bit pricey, but you can definitely make a lot of meals out of what you get. I love their beef and broccoli and their Mandarin noodles. Although I do wish the Mandarin noodles had a little bit more meat in them.
Their meat in the beef and broccoli is always nice and tender and never has any fatty pieces in it. The food itself is full of flavor and is extremely delicious! They also give you free egg rolls with your order which always makes me happy. If you want to have yummy left overs for a couple of days, I recommend this place!

After reading some of the reviews here, I decided to give this place a shot. I am so glad that I did. My family had the Mongolian beef, mushroom chicken, beef fried rice, and crispy beef (we were on a beef kick, I guess lol). The dishes were hot and had amazing flavor. Crispy beef is a must when you come here. The egg flower soup was also pretty good. I will definitely be back.

I’ve been coming here since 1990… The staff is soooo friendly, some of the best people in town. They have great fresh food, and make you feel at home. This is the place to come for great Chinese in the EC!!!

Great lunch spot for Chinese food in the east county area. Their lunch special comes with soup, egg roll and main dish with rice.
Great prices, good service and they are run by a family which makes the whole place feel so cozy and warm.

Came here for dinner again tonight with my kids. Other than the fact that it took our waitress quite awhile to actually wait on us, it was a pleasant experience once again. We ordered the crispy beef, chicken fried rice and bbq pork lo mein. It was all so good but the crispy beef was fantastic! I’m so glad that there’s enough left over for me to have for lunch tomorrow. I’m already looking forward to it. Can’t wait to come back again and try more things on the menu.

My friend took me to this place tonight. He told me it was a family owned place which I liked. The food was great, the service was very good. The Kung Pow chicken was excellent and not real sweet like other places make it. I will definitely come back again

Me and my husband go to China Panda every time we are craving Chinese take out since we found the place. The family who runs the place is very nice, and they serve good sized portions. There is always leftovers, and it always comes with free egg rolls. We are so glad to have found our regular Chinese place for those busy nights. Very tasty!

This very well may be the best Chinese food in all of San Diego, not just the East County. Every time I come and visit the restaurant, I am always greeted with great service and a very nice hostess. The food always comes out quick and no matter what, the taste is GREAT!
The prices are not too bad, especially for a place that is this good. Try the spicy orange chicken lunch special. Under $ 10 and you will be full all day and satisfied that you ate great food!
I recommend this place to anyone wanting authentic Chinese food.

Only been here one due to the reviews. The place was packed so I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken to go. The sauce lacked flavor. It tasted like Kung Pao soy sauce. The sauce was watery with no sweet/​spicy flavor. Maybe it was a one off but I found China 1968 down on Broadway and haven’t looked back

BEST CHINESE FOOD EVER!
I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl, my uncle used to work there and our whole family still comes here.
We live in Ontario and everytime we go to San Diego we make it a MUST to go out to this place!
Service is great! We always have the best time when we come.
The food is perfection!
Everyone should definitely check this place out!

Service awful! She is grumpy and short and rude
We order chow mein kinda pricy [food flavor is good] but it is ALL noodles and hardly any pork. They are cheap on giving any pork.
Went there several times and even sent my mom twice. The first lady who takes your order was rude to me so I gave up and sent my my mom twice. The Lady is rude all the time. That lady is always there.
If you can find a new place to eat at in El Cajon and you want Chinese find a new place … Service is awful.
Also they have the ‘special of the day’ sign facing the wrong way so you dont see it… until you come out of the restaurant.
Once I find a good Chinese restaurant in EC I will post something on Unilocal

The food is great, the service is phenomenal, and the lunch specials are worthwhile. I enjoyed that the food is more traditional than usual. Our server was setedy and very knowledgeable about the dishes, which I really appreciated.
I most definitely recommend eating here.

I love this place!!! It is always delicious! The food is very tasty. The service is great! The woman are always very sweet, they remember our order, even when we haven’t been there in awhile. The portions are huge and very good prices. I would recommend anything from this place, all of it is really yummy. It’s also in a little center, so there are other stores around and a chase bank if you wanted to go walk around if you ever had to wait (although I’ve never had to wait even when it was busy). I’ve been going here for years and not once have I been disappointed. I definitely recommend this place for great Chinese food.

This is still the best place to eat Chinese food. The food is always cooked perfectly, the portions are generous and the service is friendly and good. We love the crispy beef, triple kung pao and snow pea chicken or the snow pea shrimp. It’s all very good. And all of their soup is simply amazing. We wish we could give them 6 stars!
