Lisa’s Alteration Center

I am so appalled by how terrible the customer service was. First time I came in she was very sweet and attentive, took my measurments and made sure I was happy with how it looked. When I came back to pick it up she hadnt told me she only takes cash, so she sent me all over rancho looking for an atm and it was at closing so nothing was open. So I called her and asked if I could pick it up in the morning and in thee most disgusted tone she said told me «sure I guess see you in the morning». I was so frustrated with how rude she had been the whole time I forgot to go back to grab my heels that I had tried the dress on with. I had left my dress hanging in the closet and my heels placed next to it. When I came in the morning she justed about screamed at me, then kicked her sandals at me and told me I left my heels there. Although completely frustrated I paid her left my wallet on the table open with a tip (that I no longer intended to give her) while I went out to the car to put my dress away. When I came back in the tip from my wallet was gone and she had gone to the back. I am so disappointed in this whole experience. My dress fits fine she didnt alter everything but I was to annoyed with her attitude to ask her to fix it. Will NEVER be back to her again.

This place is where I go to do all my alterations because it is very consistent and the quality of work is excellent. I normally wouldn’t trust anyone with a suit other than a department store but lisa does a heck of job. Work is usually done fast you may have to wait quite a bit because that place gets very busy

Used Lisa for years. Recently she lost my husbands two pair of pants. Came in three times said they weren’t done yet. Finally my husband went in and she admitted they were gone. Told us to go and buy new pants and she’d reimburse us, which was ethical. But after trying to find similar pants I did, I bought them asked for my refund and she ended up finding them. Cool, right?
No, she made us wait a week to alter them, when we went to pick them up, she wanted to charged us ½ price! Never going back!
All she does is complain lately. Time to retire.

This place is a rip off they charged me twice for the same alterations she said to pay up front and when we came back she insisted I didn’t pay. I PAID TWICE TO GET THE DRESS. She insisted I pay in cash

I met Lisa over 8 years ago, I had to moved to North County 5 years ago because we bought a house. I still drive to El Cajon just because she is that good. I have taken so many things to her and I have never been disappointed.

Lisa is THE BEST. I am a fairly petite girl so going into prom a year ago I knew that no matter what dress I bought I would have to get it altered. I bought my dress secondhand and the girl I bought it from highly recommended Lisa. As soon as I walked into her shop Lisa was super friendly and helpful, and in the middle of my fitting another woman walked in who informed me that Lisa is the best at what she does.
Lisa is super friendly and listens to your input while also offering her own. I have recommended her to my brother as well, and he has also left glowing praise. I have come to Lisa about 3 times now and am NEVER disappointed.
PS, she only takes cash!
