I was looking around for a polisher in San Diego to polish my Supra Twin Turbo valve covers an asked my friend’s recommendation. He told me to check out Romero’s in Santee. Although he hasn’t gotten any work done by them I trust his referral. He is the same guy who also recommended Miramar H&A to me. Instead of doing further research and price comparison I decided to go with my gut and gave Romero’s a shot. I dropped off the valve covers on Monday and picked them up on Friday. The valve covers came out great. The finish looks really clean and shiny. I plan on taking more parts to them to have them polished.
The owner was really informative and knew what he was talking about. He actually works a lot on show cars that require that extra luster. He also guarantees his work. So if there is anything that is wrong he will make sure its right. I really like businesses that go out of there way to make the customer happy.
The only negative thing is when you call sometimes nobody picks up the phone.
**Update: I just sent my valve covers to the chromer and he said the polish job wasn’t as good and that I overpaid. However, the black nickel plating will cover some of the imperfections of the polish job. So I decided to lower the rating.
