So painful! I am a small woman and this big goon with giant hands tortured me for 30 minutes. I thought he was going to break bones or paralyze me few times. Even if I had tried to tell him to ease up he wouldn’t understand, didn’t speak a word of English! You are probably asking why I sat there for the whole time. Valid question. I’ve had lots of massages in my life. Some of them not too comfortable but the end result is worth it. I’ve had a lot of knots lately and kept thinking… tomorrow or the next day I’ll feel good about this. Well it’s the next day and I am NOT feeling good about this! A bruised face from him pushing my head down into the donut. The skin on my back and my arms is tender to the touch and I can hardly move my shoulders. Never, never never never… again!

This place is my all time go to place for a deep tissue massage!!! They go deep into the muscle and I have seen almost everyone who works there and they all feel to me as though they are natural healers … Their in tune and can find the spots that need work! Don’t let the walk in leave clothes on jump on the table or chair impression fool you into thinking it’s less quality! They are better then any other appointment made massage I have ever been to in San Diego and I’m addicted to them!!! Also they do very healing foot reflexology and I also come in there for that and walk out with the feeling of walking on air if you don’t like a deep massage you might want to pass but I’m sure they are trained in Swedish too so you can always ask.

Was completely disappointed and almost angry at my 30 min chair massage experience. First and foremost I’ve had tons of massages over the years and used to get them regularly, I haven’t had one in about 9 months so I thought its time to treat myself. I sat down in this chair and he started in. Almost immediately I told him it hurts and he replied«medium», and I said yes. He continued to press so hard that I jerked a few times. I said ouch a few times but he just kept going pushing my body into the chair. I had to tighten up all my muscles to be able to keep aligned in the chair. I kept thinking«is my time up yet?» I almost got up early and said the hell with finishing but I stayed because I didn’t want to embarrass myself. When the torture was finally over, I got up and felt disoriented with a sore back and my knee felt funny. It’s now 8 hours later and I’m limping. My knee is ace wrapped to help with swelling. I told the guy as I was paying that the massage hurt and he just smiled. I left without saying thank you or goodbye, and was totally embarrassed. My hair was all mangled and makeup running from having my face smashed into this paper towel placed over the face cushion. I will never set foot in here again. This place has no concern for the customer. Not everyone can take an intense amount of pressure. I get massages to relax and relieve tension, not to feel intense pain.

I can’t wait to get back for more chair time. I had a wonderful experience and I recommend everyone come and experience a chair massage as well

wow so this was my 2nd visit, first one was mediocre but no need to slam them just not a five star place However… Yesterday was TERRIBLE I get a chair massage from a guy that immediately start putting his elbow into my lumbar region and into my spine, i tell him hey, hey you are hurting me he grumbles some words in a different language then continues the agony, 40 seconds later i say ok thats enough, this is too painful. I was really not even going to Unilocal until i asked my mother to take a look because it was extremely sore. Well she sees a bruise on my back. CRAZY!!! so I would never go here again. When I tried to call the number listed here and online they don’t answer.

Never thought I would use a mall massage salon but here I found myself. My daughter insisted we go in for a massage and reflexology session. First of all, no appointment required, walk-ins are very welcome and I am pretty sure they have something available for every budget. We walked in, chose our treatment and laid down on our perspective massage tables. The massage started soon after. We chose half an hour on the table and half an hour on our feet. No complaints here, but this is where I need to caution those of you who may not frequently receive massages. No one will ask you how you like your massage they go full into it immediately and it’s ALL deep DEEP tissue massage. I mean they use fingers, knuckles, elbows or anything necessary to release those tight spots on your back and neck and it can hurt. So if you want a light touch I highly suggest to tell them before you lie down and make sure they understand. Fortunately for me this is the only kind of massage I like so I was very happy and I know how to breathe through the pressure. The massage was very thorough and I left feeling light and pain free. The only draw backs for me is that it is in the mall, it’s in the open and even though your eyes are closed you still hear all the mall noise around you. If a crying child or a person talking loudly is in the vicinity it’s hard to ignore them. LOL

There’s one modality practiced here: Pain. Now that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Some people like a little pain. I personally feel like I’m getting my money’s worth. The people who work here will open a can of whoop ass on you, deliver it in a systematic fashion and you will pay them for it happily. Now if you’re used to foo-foo massage places(everywhere else) then you might expect medium pressure and a very relaxing experience. To be clear, this is not that experience. The massage will feel like you’re sunbathing in a hail storm, but somehow when you walk away you’ll feel rejuvenated and loose. Have you ever had a massage therapist talk to you throughout the whole treatment? Annoying right? That’s never a problem here. If you ask them a question they’ll simply hand you a menu with a pricing schedule. Easy. The treatments are all done in a big room with the mall walkers doing laps just outside of the establishment. You might feel a little weird getting a massage with onlookers just 10 yards away, but just wait until you put your face into the padded donut hole and the whole world fades away around you. A definite pro for this place is that you can pick shorter treatment times to save money, and still achieve some good results in a short amount of time.(Get those lactic acids worked out of your system) It’s a great way to kill time if you’re waiting for a movie to start or getting your car worked on at Sears. I promise if you survive the massage you will feel great afterwards and it will be the best ass-whoopin you’ve ever had.

Drooooooooool. I love me a mall massage. I’ve had full body Swedish la-di-da massages, but they don’t work out my knots nearly as much as a 20 minute chair massage from an aggressive Asian dude does. When I first went for one of these years ago I was nervous about the whole«in the mall with everyone walking by and looking thing», but believe me, you don’t even notice it after you stick your face in that chair hole. This particular location is great, too, because they actually have their own store so you’re not even in the middle of the mall walkways like a lot of others I’ve been to. You’re looking at a little over a dollar per minute for a chair massage(not including tip). The only thing I do not like are the grunters getting massaged next to me – especially the foot massage grunters. I don’t want to hear your sexytime noises, stranger. Kindly stifle your moan. Oh, and they do take credit cards and sell gift certificates as well.

I love this place. My husband and I both had30 minute table massages. They really focus on deep tissue massaging so if you’re a wimp or a baby and can’t stand pain then you need to go to a spa in La Jolla or Santa Fe, New Mexico for a massage. I can’t wait to go again! The women were really nice and as other Unilocalers have complained about smoking, they did not smell like smoke!

Ive been suffering with lower back pain for about 6months now. The pain will come and go. My family and I went to the mall to just have a fun day when my back pain suddenly kicked in. It was horrible, I told my husband that I was going to check out the prices and maybe get a massage(I’ve never had a massage done my a professional) But I was in so much pain that I hoped at the chance because we were so close to one at the time of the onset of pain. I paid $ 36.00 for a 30min whole body massage. at the end of it I got up feeling GREAT! NOPAINATALL! I haven’t had a flare up since then. Now I probably am not cured. But it was amazing at what 30mins did… I LOOOOOOOVEIT! The only con is the outside mall noise. Not so relaxing when you hear hood rat girls talking about baby daddy drama. My massage therapist got a good tip!!!

I really like this place and look forward to going whenever I’m visiting my parents. I usually have to be very clear that I want gentle pressure. Gentle! But they are very thorough and kind. And they have a lot of my gratitude for their kind attention to the foot my mother broke(and now loves to have rubbed firmly). They have been very therapeutic for her.

My husband and I love to go here and have our sore muscles worked over. I especially love the foot massage. The chair and table massages are wonderful too. The people here are friendly and learning more English all the time. They recognize us and are always welcoming. The value is good for what you get. They will massage your firmly!, but are happy to go lighter on you if you speak up. We love to go here.

Love this place! It’s a bit pricey but they totally work out all your kinks. The foot massages are the best. It’s a bit weird at first because shoppers are walking past the whole time but it’s great for what it is!
