My order was filled with extra cheese after I said no cheese. Got a refund, the cashier asked if I wanted my tacos back I said no thank you.

One thing I appreciate about Taco Bell is that it is a little more healthy than a lot of other fast food establishments. Another thing I appreciate is the fairly low prices. Combine that with a Senior or Millitary discount and you cant go wrong. Although its not truly authentic Mexican Food as I believed growing up in Springfield Ohio, it’s actually purdy good. When Al and I stopped at the location in El Cajon we both had the craving box. They stuff quite a bit of food in the box for $ 5.00 they even gave Al an extra serving of the Nacho Cheese for free. They have a decent sellection of sodas. The food was tasty, hot, and well prepared. Our host smiled the whole time she took our order. She answered our questions well. It didnt take long to get our food. I will deffinately stop by again when I’m in El Cajon.

My memories of the Second Street Taco Bell go way back to the days when they were located in the original brick building at Second and Madison. That original building is still there, but occupied by another business. This modern day version is located to the south of the original, in the other side of the street. The inside is spacious and clean, and the self service taco sauce has always been fully stocked. I typically go with«Fire» but have recently taken a liking to the green stuff. I have been here on several occasions, but I’ve never used the drive thru or had anything from the breakfast menu. On my most recent trip, I killed two birds with one stone and drove through and got breakfast. I opted for a sausage breakfast taco combo with coffee. The Mrs. went with a sausage burrito combo with OJ. Both the taco and burrito were hot and fresh. The hash browns and coffee were some of the best in recent fast food memory. If you opt for OJ, there is a thirty cent uncharge. Breakfast for the two us was a touch north of ten bucks. If you’re thinking about breakfast, keep in mind breakfast ends at eleven. I will definitely think outside the bun and return for many more runs for the border.

What do I say about Taco Bell? Well, for starters, this is a great place to eat when you’re drunk and it’s late night… but you’ll definitely regret it the next morning. The employees at this location are pretty rude and it seems like they all hate their life working there. The drive-thru entrance SUCKS, and it is very hard for me to get through with my Tundra. There are a lot of hit marks that seem like a lot of cars have hit the wall as well… that sucks. If you go here, especially at night, do not walk around in the back of the building. There are a lot of homeless people walking around and a lot of them are on drugs and end up bothering you for either money or food and are rude about it.

This has always been the best taco bell in the area but lately, what I assume is new employees, have been a little lacking. We’ve been given the wrong items twice and the manager has been happy to make it right, not only giving us the correct items but remaking our entire order and giving us multiple extras. I find it refreshing for a place to not just fix the issue when they’ve made a mistake, but to go above and beyond to keep your service! We’re regulars here and will continue to be, not only because they are more generous with their portions and the food doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting out all day, but because of the amazing service we’ve received time and time again!

They put out a decent product for the price. Its not authentic Mexican food, but thats not a realistic expectation for an establishment like this. Its better to think of Taco Bell as a place that makes«Mexican inspired» food. Their chalupas are great as are their quesadillas. The clientele at this particular location can be somewhat eclectic, but thats common for this neighborhood. The staff were friendly and the service was speedy.

THIS Taco Bell knows how to treat customers correctly. They are expedient and generous with portions, even if you order from the dollar menu. The bathroom, when I needed it, was clean, and I’ve never had an issue with the quality of their food.

It’s a nice Taco Bell. It’s clean and not very crowded at all. The customer service is good too. They call your order by name, which is different from most Taco Bells I have visited.

This is for the AWESOME late night munchies! And shout out to the guy that’s on night shift! He had the rudest customer commenting on his race and he held himself so professionally. And after that still was such a guy he offered us a drink for having to witness that! Not to mention usually when you go to places late at night the quality is okay but this was food outstanding! I will definitely be going back here!

After not getting my fill at a sushi place up the street, I stopped in here to try their quesarito with steak and a medium ice tea. The quesarito was okay and it came with plenty of cheese and rice, but with a minimal amount steak and a little to much low fat sour cream for my taste( ). The steak had a soft texture for the most part, but a few pieces were a little rubbery or perhaps over done. The rice was good and so was the cheese, but I did not care very much for the low fat sour cream. It was bland and on second thought, the quesarito would of done fine without it. Just the cheese was good enough and it would cut down on the fat content. I did like the way they grilled the flour tortilla and gave in a crispiness( ). Service was good, and the guy who took my order had a good sense of humor. The place seem mostly organized, except for a few messy tables, that were quickly cleaned up by an employee while I was there.

Customer Service 1st impression very welcoming got a greeting with a smile — quick food service — was in n out within 7 minutes — the location could use an improvement an upgrade to work better with incoming traffic of new clients —

People their Brand New Breakfast Menu is absolutely delicious. I have been going there by myself and with a lot of friends locally and the Breakfast burritos far surpass any fast food place anywhere.Guranteed. A large breakfast burrito(Bacon or Sausage), tasty as anything, drink, and hash brown for $ 5.00 Burritos now $ 1.79 each)… Service here in the morning is very quick and I wont go anywhere else as long as they keep their break menu that has a great variety. Don’t make a big mistake and pass on Taco Bell .It is now a rising shining star in fast food breakfast and no doubt the best. Try the burritos for yourself . Just wish Taco Bell could open before 7AM since most are on their way to work them. 24 hours or earlier breakfast would be nicer.

Ok It’s embarassing but I like taco bell. However this location is terrible. One word bad employees. Do not come here. I been there a few times. The location is convinient but I regret it every time. This is why Taco bell has a bad reputation because of locations like this one. Employees on cell phones, standing around or chatting life away. My daughter fell there last time because employee didnt mop correctly. The employee laughed at my dauther and finished conversation on the phone. I actually clean foor with the napkins. My daughter was crying quietly and yes she is fine, no permanent injury :) But what was offensive was their response. Manager saw what happen and did nothing! Honestly it was a great lesson for my daughter. When ever she doesn’t do her chores correctly or doesn’t want to finish her homework. I ask her do you want want to be like that taco bell employee who doesn’t do her job correctly and makes litle girls fall. No matter what job you have, you have to do it properly and with pride. Shame on this taco bell

I saw and spoke to 3 different employees in the drive-thru and each and every one was super friendly. I actually left *smiling* …until I saw the tacos. There was hardly ANY meat in them. I don’t pay almost $ 2 for a taco shell filled with lettuce.

Taco Bell food is pretty much the same everywhere. What I like about this location is: 1) I can actually understand the drive thru person 2) The service is great!

Its Taco Bell. The food here is very standard taco bell food. But what really grinds my gears is how inconsistant their product is. One day you’ll have the best chalupa you’ve ever had. Then you come back the next day you’ll get the same chalupa, and the meat will be cold, the tortilla will be soggy, and your bag will be filthy. As far as the service goes, its not the worst. They seem to be very accomendating, but at the same time seem to not care for my business. They almost always get something wrong, or make a big deal about an ordering mistake or an error. I can’t say that this is the worst Taco Bell, but its definitely not the best.
