Disgust, is the one word I would describe this place. Service is horrible(very slow), the«bread» is dry(fake Mexican bread). Donuts are greasy and cold? Yukkk. I truly honestly pity the people who think this place is delicious. People have low expectations now a days, people don’t know what’s good anymore. Now let’s talk about cleanliness, dust on the floor,(no mops)?. Dust and dirt flies on the food. At the end I didn’t purchase anything for the only reason there were multiple dead flies in the corner where they display the food. The place is over all disgusting and dirty I can’t believe it’s still in service. I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy. Horrible place.

My hot Wife and I came to this place to have some coffee and pan dulce(Mexican Sweet Bread) and this place has been packed! The line has been long the whole time. I suggest getting here early if you don’t want to wait long, also not to much seating, the menudo is popular and everyone keeps ordering it. The place is clean and the staff is nice.

The food is okay but service wise they take a very long time and would help if employees were nicer

Hidden in California is a place an hour east of San Diego called El Centro, and hidden in its streets is a treasure named Las Conchita. I have never tried any of their bread or cakes. I go for their secret burritos. This well kept secret is whispered in dark allies where spices muddle with exotic passion. At dawn you must wake before the sun arises and make the trek to Las Conchita bakery. By 8 or 9AM they will be sold out. These burritos were made in heaven. The dough is like nothing I have ever experienced before. Once their home made tortillas get found every chain in America will begin using them. They are soft and soak up the contents of the machaka. They dance and twirl with the blend of chorizo. I travel from around the world to have these burritos and I have never regretted it once. They have one or 2 days that they don’t make them and no one speaks English, so brush up on your numbers and asking what day and hours are you open. The burritos are very small. I order about a dozen for 2 – 3 people or even more. It is worth it. I have kept this a secret for awhile but it is time to let the world try it.

If you like or even if you remotely think you like Mexican sweet bread and or Mexican pastries stop by where the locals go.
