Better than DD, would have liked better signage about donut offerings at drive thru. Will be back, place was busy just after we arrived a sudden rush appeared out of nowhere and cars were backed around the building. Either we created a trend or we arrived just in-time.

Just a run of the mill donut shop. But the sweet tea… Man, it’s like my thirst has been quenched and lifted from me like the sins of a pagan in Church. Now I know why I see everyone with these large, white styrofoam cups with the red straws… They’re drinking this stuff all the time. There’s air conditioning is on in here so the local prepubescent teens come and hang out in hordes. Donuts were just ok.

The donuts were way to thick. As big at 3 – 3 ½ inches, so you can’t take a full bite all in one bite. They’re just way to sloppy looking, not uniform in size, and the texture ends up being really dry because it’s too much dough for one doughnut.

I give this five stars for their old fashioned donuts. There are none better in this galaxy. Grab a plain, chocolate and a glazed old fashioned and a cup of your favorite coffee, and enjoy. The employees are always very nice, but I’d buy donuts from Charlie Manson at this place if I had to.

Probably one of my favorite donut shops in the Imperial Valley. I haven’t eaten anything there that I can complain about. For the most part all of their items are consistently good. The one thing I buy the most is the extra large iced tea or Arnold Palmer, especially during the scorching Imperial Valley summers. Oh, and Starbucks is conveniently located across the street to accompany those delicious doughy fried glazed fat pills.

A 24 hour doughnut place that sells Mexican food also. We stopped in for doughnuts though. Selection was not bad, not great. Of course it was late in the day so we were subject to what was left. Even though they are a 24 hour store, it appears they only make doughnuts once a day, probably sometime in the wee morning hours, so the doughnuts were not fresh fresh. The doughnuts are big and the glaze and or icing runs off the tops if left out for the night. Fruit filled, glazed, bavarian cream filled, apple fritters. I personally like white cream filling but that is seldom found in local doughnut shops. All in all, nothing special, they are doughnuts.

For once, I am the first! Stopped by on a sweltering Wednesday morning. There were so many shiny donuts in the display window. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. We ordered coffee and I had an apple turnover of sorts. I really wanted to try the Mexican bread but there was a plastic covering over them(read: baked yesterday). The apple turnover was good, but nothing spectacular. It was dense and crumbly. My dining companion said that there used to be amazing cream puffs here, but no longer.
