Burger King

Do Not come to this location! First, it took a long while for someone to come up to the cashier to take my order. Finally when he did, he was rude about taking valid coupons I had. He had a look on his face that he didn’t want to take the coupons. Also, he told me that «he will take the coupons this time but usually when it’s busy they don’t take coupons» I’m like huh? Because it wasn’t even busy! Hardly anyone was in there. I told him that then right away he just said «next time when it’s busy» and was hesitating. Finally, I simply said only ketchup for my daughters cheeseburger and it was even acknowledged on the receipt that ONLY ketchup, guess what, they included everything else which is mustard and pickles. Please avoid this location.

After living in El Cerrito for 4 years, I went here for the first time last week since I had a coupon for 2 small bacon cheeseburgers, small fries, small drink all for $ 4. The place was clean and well lit. The cashier was pleasant and competent. I ordered my 2 burgers with bacon and cheese ONLY and they were both correct. Also, I got A LOT of fries for what was supposed to be a small fry so I was happy with that. The food was hot and fresh and tasted well enough for fast food. Also, they had music playing but it was kept to a decent volume and was basic FM friendly tunes instead of that «killing cops, beating women and smoking weed makes me a man» hood rat drivel so many fast food crews have blasting over the speakers these days (they think they’re at the club instead of at WORK). I always say «Why go to Burger King when there’s a Nation’s Hamburgers right across the street???» But, these guys did a pretty good job on my first visit. So, despite all the 1 star reviews they have, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

WARNING BEWARE! Got the stomach flu from eating at this Burger King 2 days ago! Do not eat here. Eat at your own risk. Still trying to recover from a fever and upset stomach (severe pain)! Will never come back here again.

If you can avoid this location; please do. I just left without getting my order because the guy who took the order didn’t do it correctly and when I tried to have the person at the window fix it he went onto a diatribe about how HE didn’t take the order. I did not accuse him of getting it wrong I simply asked for it to be corrected. TWICE. My second request ended with the guy at the window getting in his feelings and again telling me he didn’t do it.
Incompetency at its best.
Oh, and don’t attempt to call and complain because the number listed is incorrect.
Complete waste of time.

I’m so disappointed I have to leave a review in hopes someone from this location will get it together and hire staff that can accommodate a request. This is now my 4^th time coming to this location and no matter what I say… no matter what I do… no matter who is on duty… no matter the time of day… they never… ever…ever…ever…get my order right. I always order my man’s burger with no onions. A very simple request, and you would think not difficult to accomodate. It is the most frustrating feeling in the world to get home time and time again and find onions in something that you have specifically asked not to be on your burger. That is all I have to say about that… I will now have to try another route and hopefully keep my sanity while I do it. Burger King should be soooo happy there isn’t another location close by…

Drive thru, Thrs ⁴⁄₂₈. Woman taking my order was very RUDE! How hard is it pushing buttons to take a order. You need to work on your costumer service! Those two fingers you claim to only have, you can stick them up your ass! I hope you get fired! Whoever is the manager you need to evaluate your employees. Take some pride and make your store better!

Me and my friend were having a simple craving for their fries and their burgers for some reason. Decided to go make the journey to get there good licking Fries. As we get there, the lady that takes our order does not even sound like she is even happy and made us wait an extra 10 minutes before taking our order. The place wasn’t even busy. After all the wait, the suspense is now over. We got the food. Now a guy like me can’t help but eat some of the fries in the way back home instead of holding it when I actually get home. As my travels continue to my domain, I start to realize how much shame and displeasure I felt with the food. Fries were dried up and were not at all crispy, and the burger was ok still very terrible. I tried to eat more of the burger then the fries to avoid the displeasing process. Still what can you expect from fast food right? Still I would expect better customer service, fresh food, and a better overall experience.

Just got home from Burger King on Central Avenue in El Cerrito to find they forgot to include the hamburger patties in my son’s double Bacon Cheese Burger and they forgot to give me my Vegi Burger. Tried to call their posted number on the internet (510−525−6377), however the number has been disconnected. Poor management. Never going back.

They always screw up your order or short your orders make sure you check them before you drive off!

I try to avoid reviews on places like this cause they are all the same. Been here before. Never expected anything different or spectacular. In fact I decided to see what kinda coupon I could get on my phone and found a good one for downloading an APP. Don’t know if that was my mistake. Things got weird rude and so on. The snide remarks on Spanish came out about the 5 non Hispanic looking types… (one of which at least understood. …plus myself of course). So when the crew screwed up my order I got «we’re too busy». Not to busy to take my money just too busy to do your job? Hey. Don’t expect that this will get a response or even make someone go elsewhere (Nations is across the street) but I had to say something.

This place is terrible. Absolutely terrible. Average 20 min wait after 9:30 PM. Never have milk shakes. They get things wrong more than half the time. This is just the night shift, but it’s so bad that the overall review has to be one star.

Get the orders right

It’s kinda late, almost midnight… Went drive thru since it’s the only option, ordered a bacon burger with no cheese. Specifies a couple times, no cheese.
There was only one other car in the line, so you can’t tell me they were swamped with hella orders.
Got up to the window, dude passes over our food (burger and small onion rings), my guy asks, «no cheese?», he replies, «no cheese.» We pull out, open the burger…
And I know, my apologies for the predictable ending to this story… THERE IS CHEESE ALL OVER THE DAMN BURGER. #fail

Yesterday I order a Vanilla Iced Coffee, French fries and Onion Rings. The Coffee didn’t had ANY flavor, but I was already out of the drive thru so I didn’t mind, as soon as I was at my house I saw a plastic bag inside my Beverage so I drive all the way back to talk to the general manager and my surprise is that she was so impolite to my complaint. while the other employees were cursing as if I was lying. She gave me a refund and that’s my last time at that BK.

I normally don’t review fast food places because there isn’t nothing really special about them, since they are all the same. I have been to this location before, but only a handful of times because I am never really in the area. I went through the drive thru because I was lazy and didn’t want to get off to order. I ordered a chicken sandwich meal, came with fries and drink. Nothing special about the food but the service was decent. The person who was behind me was super ghetto and was pretty mean to the person who was taking their order.

A friend told me burger king has veggie burgers. So I ordered one and it was very good! The combo came with low cholesterol French fries and a drink they even gave me the fries with out salt just they way I asked them to. Paid $ 4.52 for the combo.
The lobby is very nice with a lot of up to date seating. The lobby temperature was too cold for me and on my next visit I put my pull over on to stay comfortable. I notice the only other 4 people in the lobby were wearing jackets.
Wireless fidelity or wi fi is offered there and worked well on my Kindle 2^nd Generation. There was no need to put in a password to get online.
The staff was very nice and one of them remembered me from my first visit.
For a fast food restaurant I would give it a 5 if were not for the lobby being too cold.
The parking lot has real parking spaces that cars can actually fit into and it is large so parking should not be a problem.
If they ever set the temperature in a comfortable range they will fill their lobby. The thermostat was at 64 when I was there I believe 70 would be more inviting.

I go in, order a .50 cent ice cream cone, they take my money and then forget to give me the ice cream cone. Happens over and over.

Newly renovated with $ 0.25 small iced or hot coffee through March 10, 2013. Clean place, people are friendly, ample parking. Bathroom is clean. Good enough for me. Oh and swivel chairs =)

Burger King is A-​OK. This is another favourite place for The Mother. We do like the hamburgers here; we like them broiled as opposed to fried.
This particular Burger King managed to stay open for business while undergoing a much needed remodelling/​renovation/​makeover. It is competitive with a lot of the hamburger restaurants. The Mother was all right with the renovation. And she was not too pleased with the concept of the community table.
We have a history with the place. We have seen it through many changes of management and ownership. I had to get on their tailbone a couple of times about making sure they were clear in making their customers aware that they were closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Among other things, making sure their employees washed their hands after touching their hair, not before. (I will spare the details, the employee has long since moved on.)
We came on a Thanksgiving and there were people in the drive-​thru. The Mother did not want to do the drive-​thru. The place was closed. It was clearly marked on the door, not on the drive-​thru. I took it upon myself to tell people in drive-​thru that the place was closed, no employees in the kitchen. We came back the next day, and I yelled at the manager that there was no clear indication that they were closed for Thanksgiving. The holiday schedule was posted on the door and on the drive-​thru menu for Christmas.

Teenage Hunger. Hardly a few hours had gone by yesterday after a very filling Asian lunch at The Door in Walnut Creek, and the kids says he’s «starving»! He’s also done a thorough job of cleaning out the fridge, despite my best Safeway efforts. So I figured I’d get him something fast as McDonalds, except our Berkeley branch is closed for renovation.
So it’s off to Burger King, although the Nations across the street has better burgers. There’s also Jack/​Box and KFC just a block away, but I didn’t need anymore fast food options. I ordered lightly off the dollar menu and the kid (and friend who was over) thought it was just fine. This Burger King is also convenient if you take the drive through and are planning to head out to the Freeway. Otherwise, it’s just another unremarkable fast food joint.
