Oh my gosh, only one review??? I’m shocked! These guys are an institution to me. I am so glad that they exist. They’re probably the reason I managed to survive those angsty teenage years. At their old Durant location, I would spend hours there sitting on a cushion lost in a book playing with one of the cats. OCOH tenaciously keeps on hanging on. They’ve yet again, paid off their back rent, and live to see another month. Please come out and get some great science fiction or fantasy or mystery or some horror. There’s stuff for your tweens and teens too. At this point they haven’t even fully unpacked yet, so the marvels are stil yet to come!

Évaluation du lieu : 5 El Cerrito, CA
Pssst… El Cerrito scores again. The Other Change of Hobbit has moved to the old El Cerrito City Club. 1600 Kearny … El Cerrito, CA94530 (510)848−0413 I popped by during their«soft» opening today.(4 – 7PM) Can’t tell you what their regular hours will be once all of the books are unpacked. As I looked around, it knew it was going to be a wonderful addition to the neighborhood… close enough to Del Norte BART to walk over. A parking lot for those who drive. The new Safeway a block away… I bought two books by Jane Yolen.(I’m a fan…) «B.U.G.(Big Ugly Guy) « and«WIngs» I could develop a theme here, Tell you how the Butterfly(that would me me) has found a new place to flutter. Talk about flights, travels… astral projections. Briefly discuss Cordwainer Smith and his wonderful story«The Boy Who Bought Planet Earth.: But I shan’t. Instead, I’m going to log off and read my new books. I predict great success of the Other Change of Hobbit in its new El Cerrito location. Stop by, and buy… and tell the store cats, Sam and Trouble that Dorothy said hello. (Sam is now on a vet-prescribed soft food diet.)That’s for another reviewer to explore… I’m heading out for a new flight of fantasy. «Wings» comes first…
