I came in on a Saturday around 6pm starving. I ordered a General’s Chicken meal for one to go. It was quick and I got home in plenty of time. Works for me when I have the craving for Generals. I will be back.

Very good. Close to my house. The cream cheese things I wish had more cream cheese. People are very nice there. No complaints.

I ordered take out. The Beef with Broccoli had too much broccoli and not enough beef. The honey walnut prawns were soggy and not very tasty. The War Wonton soup was pretty good and so was the house chow mein. The shrimp fried rice was very good. The fortune cookies were stale. Overall I was a bit disappointed and will likely not rush back.

This place sucks! I will NEVER eat there again. The waiter mumbled, and the when the food was delivered, she didn’t say a word! There was a hair on my plate! GNARLY!!!

Great food and great service. Never had a bad dish. Prices are very reasonable. If you do not like dark meat chicken they are happy to make your dish with white meat only for a little more.

I was excited knowing that there is a Chinese restaurant close to my home. I was extremely disappointed with the flavor. It surprised me because the servers and cooks were talking in a Chinese dialect, and the flavor was loaded with msg. I told myself, I’ll deal with it, kept going but it got worse. The noodles were too starchy. My last visit was when the shrimps served were rancid and rotten. Suddenly, I realized, it was not the flavor but the poor quality of their ingredients. Starchy noodles means very poor quality. Rancid seafood. No, not good. Pity, close to home is convenient.

I love the spareribs but they lost a star cause they said they wouldn’t add shrimp to my Mongolian beef even though I was willing to pay extra.

Best Chinese food around, Fred is one of the 2 main servers here and always does an excellent job. Fast, plentiful, and tasty. Can’t ask for much more than that. General chicken and beef or chicken chow fun are the go to dishes.

Nothing too special. I went here for the first time yesterday, and it was completely dead. I ordered some food to go(the«combination» meal with general chicken). You get a pretty good portion of food for the amount. It came with soup, a won ton, egg roll, chow mein, rice and the meat. I wish there was more meat in the portion, but with the amount of other stuff they give you, can’t complain too much. The quality of the food was nothing special. Some people say that left over Chinese food is better than it was originally — this time, quite the opposite. I most likely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

On Saturday, September 12, 2015, my co-workers and I ordered from this restaurant. I had the curry chicken with house fried rice. It was delicious! I couldn’t eat it all, so I sealed it and stuck it in the fridge for consumption on the following day. Mind you, our facility is pretty swanky and our amenities are top shelf. So, imagine my surprise when the next day while emptying the container onto a plate, I see the remains of a cockroach mixed into my house fried rice!!! Now, I know you’re thinking that it probably got in there over night. Roaches know how to open refrigerators to get to what they want. etc. but NO! For one, the roach was in a part of the rice that had not been touched. And was only exposed due to me digging into the pretty much frozen rice to put it onto a plate. And today, another coworker told me she found a roach in her food in 2005 shortly after they had opened. And AGAIN, earlier this year! I am so scared that La Bou has them too because they are located right next to each other. I can’t tell anyone what to do, but I would STRONGLY recommend that you NOT eat at this establishment. Pretty much goes without saying that the only reason they have 1 star from me is because I HAD to put something. I truly hope the moderators of their account don’t try to cover this review up!!!

Chinese food that works. It’s not the best I’ve had, but it’s far far far from the worst place I’ve eaten! The individual meals are more than enough food… perfect for the«I ate Chinese food an hour ago, so I’m hungry again» munchies. Kids got the sweet and sour chicken, hubs had general chicken, and I got sesame chicken. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

General chicken with the hot and sour soup is something I can live off if I could. Never does disappoint; I go for that and the atmosphere. Fred there always treats us great and makes us feel welcome and invited. Only Chinese food I’ll eat in the edh/Folsom area.

5 stars for the general chicken. Select pieces of tender white meat in a delicious general sauce. The rice & chow mein is tasty as well. Only $ 7 for large servings at lunch. Call ahead and pick up is ready in 10 minutes.

This place is well worth a 5! They have great service, great quality food, and are very inexpensive. I usually get the mixed veggies with Chicken or Beef and it is cooked perfect every time.

poor food, poor service, the waitress with an attitude never returned to our table after dropping off food except to drop off check each time we tried it there.

Went here on a Sunday with my family, which is a pretty large group with kids ages 0 – 27 and my aunts and uncles. There was about 15 of us that came in and the place was empty. It was 3pm on a Sunday. Not a good sign that there was no one else there. They have a reasonably priced menu and portions were large but it wasn’t worth it. They were pretty bland and wouldn’t order anything again. The servers were barely present even though we were the only ppl there too. Would not go back, next time my family wants to go somewhere to eat this won’t be on the list of places we can go.

Worst service I have ever had… We had to help ourselves to water, had to go ask for to go container… Asked for a substitution in my meal and was told very abruptly, no… Offered to pay extra but still a very curt no… There were only 2 other tables being«serviced» so it wasn’t like they were busy, but they clearly felt like having patrons in store was a hassle. They appear to be a to go place… The food was mediocre at best. Will not return here.

Let me just put this out there; I’m kind of a Chinese food snob. There I said it. I’ve tried Debbie Wong’s several times but I was never really blown away by the food. All of my favorite dishes were just alright. I’m sure you’re screaming at the screen right now, why did you keep going back, Lady?!? My husband absolutely loves the Generals chicken at Debbie Wong’s. And I have to agree. It’s really good. It’s just deep fried and I can’t eat a whole order of it or I regret it later. It’s a bit of a strip mall hole in the wall. You aren’t paying for the ambience of Fats. However, it’s clean and the service is always good. I’ve just had better.

Lunch today at Debbie Wong. Not exactly memorable. We were there for a late lunch, and it seemed we came too late. The reception was quick, but very cool and indifferent. It felt like they were doing us a favor to wait on us. Food came quickly. We had General’s Chicken, which was tasty, and Honey Walnut Shrimp, which was okay. I’ve had better. We got the standard wonton and egg roll, but no dipping sauce. I brought mine home; I DO have dipping sauce. We were a little intimidated, so didn’t ask for any, just ate, paid and left. Maybe it was our fault for coming in after the regular lunch crowd. But there was another table that came in after we did. It’s sad. This used to be quite popular for lunch with the local business crowd, and we’ve gotten take-out there before that was pretty good. I don’t think I’m going back, at least for a while.
