Applebee’s

I was so excited when we came here to find something familiar. We eat there often in our home town. The lady behind us was having an issue with something on her cup and drink, they left without eating. We had to wait forever on our food and then when it came out it looked gross. We told her we could not eat this and they should be ashamed letting this out of the kitchen. This restaurant needs to be checked by the City and who ever owns this needs it to be closed. There’s no excuse, I’ve eatin at Applebys all over the US and other than bad service I’ve never seen food like this. Never offered to fix it and then charged me for the fries which were subpar. I know someone is gonna get sick here. And yes I took pictures
The beans are almost clear and are very brown on the ends. The others were not cleaned and the carrots were white, almost dehydrated. So Nasty. My husband works way to hard to pay for this.

Filthy dirty, beer so warm it was all head, server so distracted he couldn’t remember from moment to moment what he was doing.

This is your basic chain. It’s clean, the service at the bar is the absolute best. My boyfriend & I got the dumplings which were ok. And the cheese sticks which were great. The perfect margarita is a consistent cheap drink that I love. I’m so grateful to have this place in el dorado. I will come back and keep trying different things on the menu

Ordered an appetizer that never came. They also got my order wrong. Ordered salmon with zucchini and potatoes. Came with peas (no idea why) and 1 baby potato cut in half. All of which was soaked in water. Salmon was fine. They eventually brought me some zucchini, which were honestly the size of 6 croutons. My husband’s ribs were really good. Waitress was nice.
I went again 4 days later. I ordered the All-​Brunch burger with sweet potato fries. Husband got the chicken finger basket. Got my order wrong again. Came with regular fries and the burger was suppose to have a fried egg on top. Sent it back. When I got it back the egg wasn’t runny like I had really hoped. The burger itself was nothing special and frankly reminded me of the McDonald’s dollar menu burger. I was sorely disappointed to have spent the $ 12 for it. Sweet potato fries were good. Husband’s food was fine, but the fries portion was tiny. We’ve eaten at Applebee’s before and never had such poor food. Again waitress was nice, but we aren’t returning if we can help if.
El Dorado, Ar in general doesn’t have many good places to eat. My husband is working here for a few weeks, so eating out is necessary. We did eat at Smokehouse J J’s BBQ place. Really loved that place. Excellent food.

I’ll first start by saying Justin, our server, was wonderful and accommodating. However, that does not make-​up for the poor quality of food we had to endure.
A main complaint was our appetizer; we ordered the pretzels and cheese dip. The order came out with nearly no cheese dip in a large bowl. We asked about this and the our server said that it was the correct portion. We asked to return the appetizer as the portion was laughable for the price. That’s when he brought out another bowl of cheese dip, effectively solving our problem. Unfortunately, the bowl was plastic and the cheese promptly melted the bowl right in front of us.
The service was right on the money, but the presentation of the food and its execution was off (by a large margin).
Corporate needs to get this store some help.

Oh dear G-​d! This is the worst Applebees I’ve ever been to. I can’t even explain how awful the food was. My 2 year old wouldn’t even eat her food. I tasted it and immediately knew why. We had to get her food from somewhere else. This is another place to avoid.

As much as I personally enjoyed my food, and as nice as the waitress was, my dad and I both ordered sirloin steaks well done, and his came out all kinds of pink. That’s jut a big no no when you got one steak right. It was also my dad’s birthday. Not to mention the wait was forever. I’ll be back, but I doubt the rest of my family will.

Yeah. Worst service I’ve ever had at a sit-​down restaurant. Slow servers, ordered a burger and it had two, circular pieces of cardboard. Yes, cardboard in my burger. Never eating here ever again. And still had to pay for the meal. Eat somewhere else guys.

This place is horrible. If it’s not the waitress it’s the food and most of the times both. DO NOT come here unless you don’t have anywhere else to go. Even then find another place!

Food was excellent. Had a very nice experience. We will go back again.

Ordered a shrimp salad. All the lettuce was limp and had brown edges; also salad was missing the avocado. Waitress was very nice and offered to have it remade. While waiting on the remake, a roach crawled up the column in front of my table. That’s when I gave up, told the manager he needed to call an exterminator and left.

Very nice waitress. She interacted with grandsons. The kids meal hamburger was awfully bland, meat, hard bread, atom size portion of cheese. Must be on a very tight budget. Had to order kids chicken tenders so grandson would eat. Not his fault but restaurant. The chicken tenders are skinny so they fry hard. Better to fry 2 thick delicious tenders than 4 hard skinny tenders. The boneless wings and spinach dip are very very good. Must be cheese shortage there because the quesedillas sucked. Other staff watched tv and had to get their attention if needed. Come on guys it’s Christmas, people are out shopping, stopping for a bite, Time To Shine. Management gets an F. Bathroom was awful. 2^nd stall full of old no two, 1^st stall poop on seat, handicap stall had toilet paper cover on floor right in front of bowl. Where was hostess all night? The steak was average good for this type restaurant.

It’s about like other Applebee’s restaurants. So-​so food, bad service, etc. I would only eat there if nothing else was open except for McDonalds, Booger King, Wendys, etc.

Ehh… went here last Thursday early evening and wasn’t impressed. I ordered the Paradise Chicken Salad and it came with only lettuce, apple slices and chicken. No mandarin oranges, pineapple or pico. I was missing all of the paradise. I didn’t complain at the moment as we were preparing to go to my husband’s grandmother’s viewing and I didn’t want my complaint about a salad to be the one thing everyone remembered on this important day. However I was not impressed.

this place is pretty good for a chain restaurant. and the picture of doyle is really cute. i hate liquor tax, but hey, it’s not they’re fault. Everyone i have met that works in this establishment is good at what they do, and everything i have ordered off the menu came out just like i wanted. good job, applebees.
