Don’t waste your time. I am guessing that waiter was new. Or at least hoping he is. Poor communication. Had to ask him for items ordered to get them. They said(and menu said they cook to order) wife asked for rare chopped steak. It came out well done. After sending it, it took the kitchen what seemed like 15 minutes to decide they could only cook it well done. Took another 20 minutes to get her food. By that time the portion of my meal that I held waiting so we could eat together, was cold. Maybe it will be better next time. But I doubt it. WON’T BEBACK

This place reminds me of an upscale iHop. With the quick service and. Breakfast anytime. — Seated us quickly. — The service was quick to greet us and take our order, but then was hard to find after we got our food. It seemed that the servers were handling too many tables. — Food was good, but if you are on a diet, make sure you ask for gravy, etc. to be put on the side… because damn, they pour it on! — We were offered ‘to-go’ cups so we can take our drink refills with us. — Seating is a bit odd in places. For example behind me was a table perpendicular to ours so the couple sitting behind me was caring on a conversation directly behind my head… very distracting. — Place was clean. Restrooms were clean. Tables were NOT sticky like they are at iHop. — Parking was great! Were were pulling a trailer and we just parked at the end of the Walmart directly behind this restaurant… so its a good place for RVs, trailers, campers, etc to park and eat.

I have eaten here twice now and both times the service had been good. A manager greeted me both times so the issues from the other reviews seems to have been addressed. The food is good and the restaurant is clean and organized. Exactly what you would expect from a breakfast/lunch restaurant.

This place is only getting two stars from me due to it’s lack of consistency in terms of keeping the waitstaff. I had heard of Huddle House before they opened locations in Kansas, so I knew what I was in for. Think of an upscale Waffle House(if that’s even possible), which in it’s own right is something I have a mixed reaction to. Tried their location in Newton and was less than impressed, so I took a trip up the Turnpike to check out the one in El Dorado. The good news is that, more often than not, the food that you order is actually good. Basically diner food in a nicer than average atmosphere for a diner. The bad news is that while the food is generally good, the service is a crapshoot. I’ve never seen such a high turnover at a restaurant chain than I have at either Huddle House. My girlfriend and I have gone to this one on multiple occasions and joke about the fact that we probably won’t see the same person there on our visits. As a result, the servers can either add or detract to the overall experience. We’ve had some great ones and some others that we’d like to forget. The cook has remained the same on each visit it seems. That said, I don’t neecessarily dislike the place. It is what it is: the closest thing to Waffle House in this part of the country. It misses the mark there. I’d say only come to this place if you have tired of Denny’s and Ihop and want somthing different, or you’re just passing through.
