I always look forward to stopping in at Jacobs well when I am in the area! Yummy lattes, friendly staff and incredible mission! Their«give/receive» free meal service to anyone who might be in need is amazing! Two thumbs up and 5 stars for sure!

I have always enjoyed the sandwich options they have here so I decided to try a brick oven pizza last night. I was not pleased, the pizza was not great at all and the crust was burnt. Today my whole family has been very sick and throwing up. I still enjoy other things on the menu, I don’t know what happened with the pizza, I’ve heard really good things about it.

Nothing remarkable here. Coffee skills are middling at best, untrained baristas and a lackluster machine. Food is dull fare, nothing interesting, not bad but just serviceable. Hours are inconsistent. Better coffee is available across the street, but not much better. If you love coffee, don’t get off the Turnpike in El Dorado.

I stopped here on a 12 hour road trip and had a great sandwich and latte. Baristas are very friendly, food is excellent. So glad I found this place instead of getting fast food!

It’s a great place to eat. If your passing through El Dorado, give it a try. I highly recommend the Turkey Bacon Panini.

I love Jacob’s Well! Good food, friendly staff, and charming atmosphere! Their wood fire grilled pizzas are delicious. I love their sweet tea, some of the best I’ve ever had! The fresh baked bread used on their sandwiches is delightful!

The hours on Unilocal say they are open until 9pm but I just tried to stop in as I drove through town and their door says they close at 3pm. I wish I had not wasted time pulling off the highway, searching downtown(no easily visible signage) and parking and walking.

The absolute best place for sandwiches and coffees! Awesome staff and ownership too! They have incredible panini’s and the best potato salad ever! They have two soups per day and they’re always really good, especially Smoked Gouda on Fridays! They also have live music and brick oven pizza on Thursday nights. A very cool place and definitely worth checking out!

If you like sandwiches, this is the place to be in El Dorado. Good Greek salad. Good soups. They also make some great oven pizza in the evening. Great cup of white mocha. Service is always pleasant. Live music on Thursday nights.

I recently spent a week in El Dorado. On my second day in town, I found JWC and then spent every morning in this great little coffeehouse. Great food, great coffee and the nicest staff.

Nice coffeeshop with a great patio. Oh, the sandwich and soup are pretty good too. Had myself the ham and cheese sandwich with the potato bacon soup. I think I’m gonna say that the roast beef grilled panini that my friend got. Good, strong cappuccino. Go around the back for more parkings.

i had planned to go to ElDorado and looked for a place that was not a chain. It had a very nice Christian(without being preachy) atmosphere. Nice soft music. I had planned lunch, but was early, so just had a scone and a latte. The tomato basil soup smelled really good. The latte was served in a ceramic cup which I appreciated, but it was very foamy and not hot. The scone was delicious. I will try this again when I am in the area. Nice menu with lots of interesting choices.

I agree that this is one of the top 3 places to eat in town. Glad to hear they’re open in the evening now, we’ll hit them up this coming week. Great service, never had any issues the dozen or so times we’ve eaten here. We usually get the Bard or the El Dorado sandwiches(grilled) and some soup which we’ll only give 4⁄5 as the last time, my wife tried a new soup(chicken tortilla maybe?) and was kinda disappointed. Do not pass up the chocolate almond pie and get there early so you don’t miss out. They do an excellent job on take-out orders, be sure to tip those folks as they do a wonderful job. Thanks & God Bless!

A bit different place for eldorado seems to be more of a Seattle trendy place but will say the bacon turkey panini(spelling) was very good. Wish they made home cut fries with meal but still very good. price was ok 7 $ for a sandwich, pickle, bag of chips again good handful of fries for same price it would be a sweet meal for good price

Stopped here for lunch on a weekday. This was my first visit to El Dorado so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I ordered and sandwich and salad combo and it was really delicious. The staff was friendly and didn’t rush me. I stayed reading a book for about 45 minutes after I finished my lunch. It had a really nice old school coffee shop feel to it which was nice also. Worth a visit!

There are only a few quality restaurants in El Dorado, and Jacob’s Well is among those few. The menu is unique and offers items that you can’t get anywhere else. All of the food is great. That staff is very friendly and helpful, and the owners are super nice and always working hard. The atmosphere is wonderful for spending the afternoon chatting with a group of friends or spending the evening listening to live music. The outdoor area is inviting and the only good place to eat outside in El Dorado. The coffee is also very good! My favorite menu items include the baby blue salad, turkey bacon panini, and the palermo pizza.
