Crabs Ahoy

There are times when you realize that you live in an amazing place and last weekend was one of those times due to a day trip down to Half Moon Bay with the San Francisco Motorcycle Club.
We see everyday that we are surrounded by water, but we forget we have one of the best fishing, crabbing and shell fish fleets in the world. And better yet, they ALL cater to John-​Q-​Public if you just know where to look. Well, Crabs Ahoy is just one of those places which cater to not only wholesales shops, but to the public at GREATLY reduced rates.
this last Saturday, some friend of mine from the San Francisco Motorcycle Club took a drive down the coast for a lovely ride and to pick up crabs for an afternoon BBQ. We found Crabs Ahoy boat in the harbor and was called to come aboard for some of the freshest crabs i have ever seen. Crabs Ahoy’s owners Larry and his wife Jan offered live Dungeness crabs at only $ 3.50 a pound and each crab is about 2lbs. That is crazy cheap as Safeway charges over $ 30 a pound and not is not fresh as these.
So support your local fisherman and women and buy local. It not only is good for them, but ensures our food is clean, fresh and does not have any preservatives
We were also told if we want to do a party at our motorcycle club, he would be able to arrange for a large shipment which he would deliver at around $ 2 a pound if we ordered over 25. Well, with a club of over 40 men and women, that will not be a problem to say the very least.
So take a day out and swing over to Crabs Ahoy for 5 fresh crabs and do your own crab back at home for under $ 20. it is not only good for you, but will make your party that must more memorable. Trust me!
