Alhambra Tire Company

A few weeks ago, my tire blew out on the freeway. I got the donut on and came to Alhambra Tire Company, because it’s a few minutes from my work, and all the reviews were so positive.
My car was parked outside their office when I called at 10:00am, which is when they open.
Guy: «Hello?»
me: «Hi, I got a flat this morning, and I was hoping you’d be able to help me with a new tire.»
Guy: «Um, well, I don’t really have time to talk to you right now. We probably don’t have it, what kind of tire is it?»
me: «I. .. .don’t know, I’m right outside if you could come take a look.»
Guy: «Yeah no, you need to tell me what kind of tire it is then maybe I could order it for you.»
me: «Um. Yeah, okay. Bye.»
If you don’t have time to talk to me, I don’t have time to give you my business.

Best guys in the business, Jerry and Peter make me feel at home and the price is good and fair. They even stay late on a Friday night till 7 to wait for me because I needed new tires to drive to big bear. Very friendly and easy to work with. I been going to them since they where on Valley. They move and its harder to find but keep your eyes open because once you go there you will be a customer for life. Thanks Alhambra Tire.

Jerry and team are the ones you want working on your tires. I needed two sets of tires. One for my car and one for my wife’s car. We transport our infant every day so needless to say we have a lot riding on our tires. :) I knew I was about to drop over a grand on some rubber so I did a ton of homework on brand and price. I tried Alhambra Tire Co. after receiving a good rec from a friend. I decided to buy my first set and see how the service went before committing to the second set with them. Well not only was the price great compared to other shops in the area but Jerry actually offered me a better set of tires for LESS money than the ones I originally wanted! Nobody else I called offered this level of service. Needless to say, I could not be happier bringing in my wife’s car for a new set of meats too.
Two important tips about tire shopping: 1. Call first to make sure they have what you need in stock. You could save a trip, especially if you need a unique size or brand. Second tip: DON’T buy tires online and have them shipped. I buy a TON of things online but tires are no longer one of them. I took that chance a while ago for my BMW X5 and one of the tires had a leak (something you won’t notice until you have them installed) and of course no shop will guarantee them. You’ll have to deal with the online retailer. What a hassle. Not worth taking the chance when the price here is even less!
So in short, just go here.
BTW, they just balanced the wheels on my 15 year old Mercedes because it was vibrating on the fwy. 10 minutes later, 80MPH feels like 60MPH. Ready for the autobahn. Jerry is my tire guy.

Drove a few miles because of a recommendation. All I have to say I was out of there in 5 minutes flat (yeah, one tire, but still that’s fast). I know because I saw what time I checked in Unilocal to when I left… NO KIDDING. Jerry you’re awesome.
I even pulled over to check my new tire was on and balanced. Sure enough!
Cheap tire and quick service? No one can complain.
Don’t go there hungry though because it smells like food. They offered me some too by the way, but I was too shy to take the viet sandwich haha…

Great service! Jerry and his crew are very friendly and provide awesome service. I was referred by a friend and they work really fast to get you out. Their price is very good and can get the tires fast.
This will be my future go-​to place for tire need. The best tire place in Alhambra! Highly recommended.

Came in for a side to side tire rotation (I have staggered wheels). He did the job pretty quickly, and the price was very competitive. I would come here all the time if I lived in the area. The owner seemed very friendly too. I would highly recommend this place. My only gripe is that it’s a bit hard to find (drove by it twice before I found it). But a diamond in the rough indeed.

Quick Tip: Call Before Arriving and ask for Jerry
I’ve been getting tires from this company for many years now. I was a previous customer at Costco Tires in Alhambra. (I hated how Costco would take hours just to change my tires.)The guys at Alhambra Tire Company seem to really know their stuff. They ask the right questions to figure out which tires will best meet my needs. Since they are in Alhambra the drive from work is rather far but worth it for the price and service. I try to get there as early as possible and they are always kind enough to wait for me after closing hours. If they don’t have the tires you are looking for they can always order them. They have done this for me several times. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

I was referred to this shop by Costco, best price for tires in town. I changed 2 front tires first and got a quote for two rear tires from Jerry. 6 months later, when I got the 2 rear tires replaced, I received the same price as quoted before. So you know that Jerry is an honest businessman, I highly recommend this shop for tires.

There’s a mechanic there name Keith (young asian guy). He’s really good at what he does. I took my car there after recommendation through my bro. So, my car was all jacked up (it would turn off when idle) and he was the 4^th mechanic I took it to because all the other’s didn’t know what was wrong with my car. So, he took real good care of my car and completely fixed it. He literally did more work than he should of for no xtra cost. He told me about what the previous mechanics were doing to my car and he fixed it. My car is running at a better condition than it was even before the problem. He was awesome. Very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him. He’s not the friendliest, but it seems like he’s just concentrated on what he’s doing. Like real meticulous. He also made sure i test drove my car a few miles. He gives warranty for his work. Real legitimate guy. You will not get B.S. there.

Came here yesterday to replace all 4 of my tires for my 08′ Lexus GS. The shop normally closes at 5:30pm but since I had work until then and couldn’t make it before they closed, they actually WAITED for me! Now that is astounding customer service where it proves to me that they truly value their customers and their customers’ time.
Overall, being the frugal Asian I am, I’ve shopped around and I have to say that they do have the best prices in town that can’t be beat– they’ll price match if you ask! Service was great and friendly. I would definitely recommend and refer this spot to all my friends.
