Great location for a store like this. For whatever reason N. El Monte is just a relatively«Dead» place. If you are feeling lazy, and need something quick – this is the place to get it. The prices are like any other Circle K(high compared to a supermarket) but they are open crazy hours… so pay the premium for the convenience! Great assortment of random stuff for sale.

7⁄2: awaiting response ************************************** store no. 2703066 circle K#3066 5205 n. peck rd el monte, ca 91732 626−350−9124 I am contacting on behalf of Andrew, an employee at my company, in regards an incident today on 7÷2÷10 approximately 12:10pm 3 of our employees went in and while 2 checked out without incident, the third employee, Andrew, was shortchanged and not provided an receipt. Andrew distinctly handed the cashier, Jim, a twenty dollar bill for his total of $ 3.45 but was handed back $ 6 in change? Please be advised that Andrew noticed the cashier, and if anyone will check the store surveillance to verify, reached under the cashier counter after he was handed the cash and then proceeds to get change from the cash register. When Andrew questions the incorrect change received, the cashier rudely claims he was only handed a ten dollar bill. Andrew then asked to speak to the supervisor, who comes out and without checking anything or anywhere, rudely«verifies» that there are no twenty dollar bills in the register. ANDTHEN, the cashier and«supervisor» proceed to ignore the situation and begins to chat amongst themselves about an entirely different subject. Because our 3 employee were on a break from work, they could not stay and debate further with the two rude Circle K affiliated personnels. While we do not expect to see the stolen money back, and yes it’s stealing when taking money without consent, we expect a few questions answered: Please advise why Andrew was not provided an receipt while the two other were? The receipts for the other 2 employees there during the same period: order#2610251 and order#2610253 Please advise how $ 6 is the correct change for a bill of $ 3.45 when handed $ 20, let alone $ 10 that the cashier claims to have received. Please also note that this is actually the second time Andrew was shortchanged at this location. He had passed it off the first time, but this is evidently not an accident. This Circle K store has always had a reputation for being rude to customers but we go in for convenience, not for the service and definitely not to scammed. Clearly, no one in our company will continue business at Circle K stores due to the way Andrew has been targeted. We are unsure at this time if it is due to his ethnicity but please note that we expect an answer for the crime(s) occurred, or at very least, the mistreatment encountered. Thank you in advance for your time and we look forward to your reply

I LOVE this place. :) I thank whatever deity out there that I live near within walking distance of this place. :D The best thing about this particular Circle K, is that it truly is CONVENIENT. They sell stuff from: fresh piping hot hotdogs, dirty magazines(LOL), lotto tickets, dog food, energy drinks, candy, school supplies, and milk. Plus there’s more in between! :D(For school supplies, there’s a small shelf that has college ruled lined paper, scotch tape, pens, erasers, and lead if you ran out last moment, but don’t depend on it like Staples or anything.) They totally changed the place up with new paint, new employees, better food, and improved security. The neighborhood around it and the people are a little questionable, but they mind their own business. Now, if you are a fan of Nathan’s hotdogs; COMEHERE. They are huge and you can load ‘em up with everything. Prices aren’t bad either. Parking for some odd reason is never a problem, the lot only takes about 13 – 14 cars at most. It’s located in a residential neighborhood so you can still park on the street if you need to. The place also feels so friendly and familiar even if you don’t go there often. There’s Mexican music in the background, the employees make small talk with locals(but they still ring you up really quick), and they always smile at you. :)(Even if some of them look creepy, but don’t tell me that’s not customer service!) Plus, the place has a simple layout and you can find anything pretty fast. THANK A DEITY that I live within walking distance. :)
