I absolutely loved the service here! Being there my first time, I explained to Dr. Wong that my previous prescription from a different place was wrong and I was getting major headaches. I went in on a Tuesday evening and by Thursday, they already had my new glasses ready. The staff is so friendly and helpful. And Dr. Wong is phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back and become a loyal customer. Thank you so much, Dr. Wong.

I finally found an A+ Optometrist! Dr. Wong is truly amazing! She checked my eyes and in a matter of a few minutes, she knew exactly what I needed. Even though my eye condition is very difficult to deal with, she was able to find trial contact lenses which were even better than the prescribed ones I came in with. I’m sure the contact lenses she ordered for me will be even better. On top of being kind and very professional, she removed my old contacts and put on the trail ones for me. No other doctor has ever done this in the many years I’ve been using contacts. I found that to be very cool! It saved me time and hassle. My 23 year old son loves her. In fact, he was the one who recommended her. Now I know why he thought she was amazing! I couldn’t agree more with him.

From my co-​workers I heard good comments about Dr. Wong, so I decided to visit her office at El Monte. My first impression was her staffs; everyone was friendly assisted their patients in a professional manner. My second good impression was Dr. Wong, like other viewer commented; she was caring and patiently helped me to get an alternative way besides wearing glasses: wearing contact lens. I am glad to found Dr. Wong.

I’ve been to other places in the past but as soon as I came here a few years back I will not be changing anywhere else. Dr. Wong is a very caring doctor who cares about the prescription and comfortability of your glasses, without attacking your wallet. I will always keep going here as long as I’m welcome.

Dr. Wong always exceeds our expectations. She is knowledgeable, thoughtful and professional. We don’t live close, but it’s worth the drive. My family has been going to her for the last few years. The glasses are always completed quickly and are done right. In addition, her staff is extremely friendly and helpful. No one from her office ever pushes you to buy more than you need. In fact, my sunglasses got run over by a car. The lenses were destroyed and the frames were badly damaged. I planned on having to pay for brand new frames and lenses. Instead, one of Dr. Wong’s staff members called me and said that he had put my frames back together. So, all I needed were new lenses. They saved me a lot of money! Dr. Wong and her office staff are the epitome of integrity and everything that is right when it comes to customer service.

I had a a great experience with Dr. Wong. Came in for the first time and she was very professional and awesome. Her honesty was the best unlike places where they try selling what u don’t need or change the prescriptions to get you to have to buy glasses you don’t really need. The contacts prescription was right on spot. No problem with the free samples she gave me. The price is very reasonable here, definitely I will be coming back. I reffered my mother and she is also very pleased with her new glasses and the service.

I use to go to Dr. Wong before I moved up north in 2007 and she always had the best glasses that fit me. She was reasonable with her cost and was efficient with the exam and time.
I moved back to SoCal this year and knew I had to go back to Dr. Wong. Sure enough, she’s the same great optometrist I remembered. She also remembered me after all these years and she had great selections with good prices.
She gets really busy so make sure you book an appointment in advance.

After a couple of years going to a optometry in San Gabriel that kept changing doctors I wanted a place where they will not change doctors every year. This is when my sister recommended Dr. Wong. She was raving how awesome and honest she was and she was right! Dr. Wong does not push you to get a new pair of glasses if it’s not needed and is honest when asking for opinions. She answers your question throughly and patiently. She’s a very nice, friendly and most importantly honest doctor. I’ll be marking my calendar for yearly visits to Dr. Wong!

Dr. Wong finds out what you need, and only recommends what you need! I’ve been to an Optometrist before where they push you to add on «necessities» to your glasses which end up costing you hundreds of dollars more, but not here! She is very knowledgeable and friendly. She anticipated my needs perfectly.
The collection they have at the store in sun and eye glasses is pretty extensive considering how small the store looks. AND they can order most other styles for you if it’s not in the store.
My work schedule is busy so the only downside for me– which I still won’t take a star for, because I love this place– is that while other places may have multiple doctors, I think this one only has Dr Wong so you really have to schedule an appointment in advance to see her. It’s hard to just pop in when you are free.

Dr Wong is awesome. I came in and selected a pair of glasses and they were ready after 4 days!!! The service was quick and easy, I love the new frame that I have now, the optical store near my house didn’t have anywhere near the frame selection that El Monte Optometry has. If anyone lives near the El Monte area, I highly recommend this place for a neat pair of glasses/​contact lenses and maybe an eye exam too while your at it!

I’ve never had a better optometrist! I’ve been wearing glasses for over 11 years and have gone through so many doctors. Dr. Wong has definitely been the best so far. She’s not only fun to talk to but she also makes sure to take the time to make sure you’re checked out properly. I recommend her to everyone I know. I’ve enjoyed every visit I’ve had and look forward to the next.

Today was my first time going in to see Dr. Wong and she was amazing! At first I was kind of skeptical at all the positive reviews but after meeting Dr. Wong I realized she was so knowledgeable, informative and honest! She took the time to help me find the right frame for my face and was really honest with me. I’m so glad I finally found an optometry I feel comfortable with and I’ll definitely be coming back. Absolutely love this place. im looking forward to my new pair of glasess. every january i get a new pair from dr wong! Shes awesome with the eye checkups and shes even better at the turn around time to pick up my glasses! Love the friendly staff highly recomend this place !

Good costumer service is a must for me. After all I’m paying for it right.Dr.Celia Wong is it, very nice and good with people. She helped my husband and I with our insurance and even gave us discounts. We have been patients for years and are pleased with her. Unfortunately I can’t say the the same for all of reception staff. One in particular is a younger girl dark complexion, curly hair… very unprofessional towards patients came off a bit arrogant. Her attire is not fitting for her position, it was revealing and unprofessional (I’d rethink to scubs).never the less due to insurance we left. As soon as we got what they accepted we came back to our optometrist.

I am so glad I found Dr. Wong! Not only is she very professional and thorough throughout the exam, but she is also very pleasant to talk to! She answered all my questions and did not make me feel rushed out of the appointment. The employees at the office are extremely friendly and helpful and there is a wide selection of glasses and sunglasses to choose from!
