Like others who have stumbled upon this bakery, I came here after having a bowl of phở at the restaurant next door. The bakery isn’t your usual Chinese bakery that sells sweet breads, pastries, egg tarts. It sells only crackers or thin wafers of different varieties. The owners are really generous with their samples. I ended up trying everything they sold! I liked that everything tasted homemade and made with few simple ingredients. My favorites are the black sesame milk, banana, coffee, and coconut. I ended up buying a package of each for $ 2.50 thinking I’d share them with others. Unfortunately ended up eating all of them myself :(

This little place is located next to Mai restaurant. The place was empty and they didnt have a lot of of products on display. They probably sell their products somewhere else like supermarket or other stores. What they did have were a lot of samples of cookies that they called crackers. The owners were nice and generous in giving samples. I tasted coconut, coffee, and banana crackers. The cookies were freshly baked there. They also let me taste this honey cracker thing that tasted like Japanese rice cracker. The cookies were $ 3 but I did get a discount and ended up paying $ 2.50 per package. I took its coffee crackers but didnt really care for it. 3 stars! Fu-Xing Bakery is almost yummylicious!

Cookies of Happiness! I love the name of this place. It reminds me of a movie I watched as a kid that, even at a young age, I found very interesting. Fu-Xing-The Chinese god of Happiness and was known as «Lucky Star.» Anyways, this bakery has limited items, but what they do are cookies! Honey sweet rice cake, coconut and coffee cookies. They are light and pretty tasty. A box will cost you about $ 3, but I bartered and got two boxes for five bucks. Deal! The owners are super nice. This makes for a nice«next door» trip if you eat at the phở place in the same plaza.
