Have been coming to this store for over 20 years. Staff there are very friendly and helpful. Ad far as walk in paper store, Kelly is the only one left in the LA area. If you need help with paper and graphic arts related items, Kelly is the place to go. Ask for Royce or Mike…

This Kelly paper is by far the best one I’ve visited. I don’t remember the name of the guy who helped me, but he was super helpful and attentive. He showed me different kinds of paper based on what I explained to him and he even let me take home some samples for free to try out different papers.
I will definitely be coming back here. I’ve been to other K.P. such as the ones in Pasadena and Hollywood and they were nowhere near as attentive and I was left trying to find things of my own.
The only downer is that unlike other K.P. they don’t open Saturdays but I get that’s more of corporate issue than anything else.

a MUST stop if you need large or small amounts of paper! we really wanted to DIY all our paper goods for our wedding from invites to programs, and decided to stop by Kelly Paper Store. I had seen it for years, but never went in. I was so impressed by the wide selection of paper & envelopes available! different sizes, styles, and thickness… and if what youre looking for is not in stock, they are more than happy to order it for you. as many have already mentioned, Hugo is super knowledgable and helpful with any questions you may have. We are so happy with what we walked out with… the prices are great, and customer service is stellar!

Did not really buy anything there so I will rate the service. Raul the only guy in the store was very nice. He helped me find the paper samples I was looking for. When I could not by one sheet, he was able to cut out pieces of the paper for me free of charge. I tried to pay for it, but he said it was alright. Would definitly come back to buy paper products from Raul again.

I recently had to go to Kelly Paper Store to get samples of paper for my graphic design project and dropped by this one to avoid driving to Pasadena on a Saturday afternoon. (I hate Pasadena traffic -.-)
I didn’t really know what to expect cause I’ve never actually been to a paper specialty store before, so I told the 3 guys at the front register exactly what I needed, what my assignment was, and what I had in mind for the paper type. They were SOOO helpful! The manager, Paul, was super sweet and led me down each paper isle, explaining what the types were, finishes, and colors. TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
haha I thought it was funny cause the first thing they said to me when I walked in was «what happened to your finger???» I’ve been wearing a wrap around my finger because I Xacto’d a piece of my finger and it’s basically just hanging skin now. :(So when I told them what happened, they all had similar experiences (or worse) and we all laughed it off, making me less self-​conscious about my injury =P
Paul was SO nice, he even gave me my paper samples for free. Usually they’re 30 cents a piece I believe, but I got linen paper samples FOR FREE! (FREE is my favorite word, hands down.) He even gave me some business cards for reference because I’m currently working on one that needed silver foil stamping/​die cutting/​embossing. So he gave me business cards that had that same thing and also business cards of printing places that could do it for me.
Really wonderful customer service, great people. Will definitely be back.
