Very good! Very fast service. The restaurant was clean and not at all smelly. Despite being somewhat crowded for lunch we were seated right away. Both my friend n I ordered phở and we also had some egg rolls to share. Delicious egg rolls! Crispy and so very tasty. The phở was also really really good. Meat was lean(I always get the flat or round steak bc it’s the leanest), veggies were fresh and the Thai iced was refreshing. They don’t have the biggest parking lot but there’s plenty of street parking. Not a bad spot at all for an area that can be pretty hit or miss with its food options.

160619, 10:30am, Father’s Day… I ordered #2 large phở dac biet. beef broth was cloudy not clear. Large bowl looks regular size compared to other Phở restaurants. Tendons are missing but replaced w hard cartilage, I have never had cartilage in phở before, this the first! Beef slices w large amount of fat. Small portions for vegetable condiments. Jalapeños slices are dried, most likely been sitting out for sometime or from the night before. I’m sure this restaurant was good before, but they’re cutting corners in quality and it showed! Pricing has been modified on menu and it’s not worth it. I can’t recommend this place, if you’re craving for Phở, try a different restaurant and pricing will be mostly better. Looking directly across Garvey Ave, people are waiting to in Phở Hai(I think). We will give them a try next time for phở.

This phở place is delicious!!! Because there are no good phở places in arcadia. So i Unilocaled this place. The only thing to get is the phở bac(filet migon phở). At first i was looking for it but the menu is kinda confusinf if u dont know how to read Chinese. The soup is best when you do not add any basil, mint, or ANYTHING. the flavor of the soup is so delixious compared to ordinary phở. Its quiet pricey at 675 for a small– medium sized bowl. The food came out sooo fast, it was faster than our drinks. We probably waited for about 3 min total. The service is not«kind» but come for the food and cleanliness of a phở resturant.

Phở Bac, Northern Vietnamese filet mignon sliced beef soup with thick rice noodles served in a metal bowl, the best thing here and if you’re getting anything else I’m not sure why you’re even eating here! There is a lot of ginger in the broth so beware if you don’t enjoy ginger. I believe the soup is a chicken broth base but I could be wrong. Absolutely delicious. What I ordered: Phở Bac($ 8) Café Sua Da(Vietnamese ice coffee with milk)

Long and overdue review. The best Phở Filet Mignon in Southern California. I come here about once a month and order my usual #1 Phở Filet Mignon and Soda Chanh. The staff is always friendly; the service is fast and efficient.

I am a phở connoisseur having eaten phở all over OC, the valley and Vietnam and I’m picky about my phở. The first place a phở restaurant usually fails is with the broth. No such problem here, the broth is tasty, clean, not to sweet, not heavy in MSG. It’s a bit light on aromatics but it’s good till the last drop! In Vietnam we often eat phở with chao quay, the fried bread. It’s available here and made fresh. In addition, you can get the bone marrow broth with egg which is delicious and hearty. It’s just a few dollars and you should get it! The veggie tray comes with the right veggies, even including ngo gai, which is a cilantro like dandelion green known as culantro. The chicken phở my wife had was excellent and included dark meat as it should. It’s rare that I will give a phở restaurant 5 stars but this one deserves it. Absolutely great phở, good service, clean bathrooms and quality food. Truly as good as phở gets and it’s sad that these bad reviewers were spoiled by imitation phở and don’t know how good it really is here.

I was recommended this place from a co worker who has tried all the phở places in the area. I got lucky, arrived 15 minutes before closing. Ordered #2 phở dac biet, came out in 2 minutes. Delicious, very hot, and filled me up completely. Only 4 stars they close too early, 6:45. I will return, it was only 8 bucks for a large bowl with tons of goodness in it. They have a large private parking lot in back and you enter the rear of the restaurant, lots of tables, clean place.

We r coming here every weekend! Our favorite is the Phở Bac. The broth fragrance is always so fresh. The soft phở noodles are at the right texture. And the beef is tender and juicy. Also the metal bowl that they used kept the broth hot longer. More importantly space I didn’t experience the MSG aftertaste here as at other places. Since we were coming so often, we began to chat with the owners and realized how they take pride in their services and their foods. They said they installed a massive water filtration system for better water taste for their customers and to me their ice water does taste good and metal-less! I love this place!

Hands down the best phở I’ve had around the area. Love the fast service and clean environment. Only thing I would ask for… a dessert menu. Haha

This place must have changed owners or something because the soup tasted very bland. I was not impressed at all. I used to come here like a few years ago and was also recommended by a lot of friends/family but I will not be returning. The flavor of the soup tasted very watery. I am very disappointed. I guess I will keep going to Golden Deli for my phở fix.

My friend said this place has the most authentic flavored phở in the area. We’ve been to the Valley Blvd phở shops. She suggested it, I replied«phở sure»! The parking lot and cute mural reminded me of Miami’s Little Havana. This is the eastern migration of Garvey Avenue’s Asian sprawl. As we entered, I was met with the wonderful aroma of phở. We were seated quickly, ordered from the simple menu, and the food was quickly brought to the table. I had the steak and well done brisket. My first taste of the broth was delightful. The meat was tender and had the right amount of fat for flavoring. I ordered a regular size, I should have gotten a large, because I finished quickly LOL…

I am more of Bun Bo Hue fan than Phở. My brother is a regular here and this is a go to Phở place every time he craves for Phở which is at least once a week. The people who work there already remember who he is and what he likes to order. I have tried filet mignon Phở and it was pretty delicious. What I remembered from my memory was that the service was excellent and I remembered asking to provide more of the side veggies because we just love to loaded our Phở with veggies and they were so generous with providing them. This time I order the spring rolls only because I wasn’t feeling too hungry. The spring rolls doesn’t have flavor so you will need to use the dipping sauce that is provided for you if you want more flavor. It comes with peanut dipping sauce as well as hot sauce. So, pick either sweet or spicy flavor of your choice. They would also come check on you and see whether you will need more hot tea or not. I won’t be back as much since I love Bun Bo Hue noodle more but my brother will be back in no time.

I was excited to try after all the great reviews and recommendations by friend HOWEVER if you are not a beef eater, perhaps this is not the place. I ate the Chicken Phở, it was just alright… and my friend agreed. The spring rolls were a bit bland, I thought the sauce would help but that was not so great either. It was ok with Siracha tho. Perhaps if I ate beef I would come back to try.

Came here many moons ago when I was sick got bad service, returned once more and same bad service. I can’t complain about the phở, it is delicious. We order our drinks, spring rolls, and phở. The server was not friendly, clearly he hates his job. Our phở arrived first, our drinks didn’t arrive until after 15 minutes and that’s only because I asked for them. He got bothered that I asked for my drinks too. Once we are done with our phở(probably 30+ mins later) the spring rolls arrived. Wait, what? When we were done eating we literally said«they forgot our spring rolls, don’t bother asking for them». Lastly, there was two kids running around with guns and toys which clearly were one of the employee’s kids. Screaming and running around the whole restaurant. Great phở, but the service is garbage. Everyone in our table was annoyed and one also said«never again».

They charge $ 3 for extra mint leaves. Wth all phở places give you the extra basil toppings free. They didn’t even tell us beforehand there would be a charge and if its okay. Phở soup was like water. The meat and noodles was bland. This place has 4stars? The reviews are misleading. Phở filet is way better.

Phở only spot! A lot of my friends love this place. Don’t really know why though. The menu covers essentially all the phở options. I went with my usual which comes with tripe, tendon, and rare brisket, which was tasty. I didn’t care for the broth as much as some. I do like how the place is clean and fairly modern. Parking situation is absolutely horrible with that lot. Park on the street if during prime time!

Good phở. There is nothing else on their menu except for phở and drinks so don’t expect any appetizers or rice dishes. The phở noodle bowls came out super fast. The service was no frills. Regular size bowls are $ 7 and $ 7.50 for the large bowls. The no. 1 filet mignon is $ 8.00 and comes in a metal bowl. Sooooo full now. Only wish they’d add less ice in our drinks. I took a couple of drinks of my lime soda and it was out($ 3.00).

Was visiting my grandparents and got hungry so we went to this place since our go to phở place closed down. Upon walking in the very first thing I noticed was how big the restaurant is. The restaurant is clean, but the little containers that you put your sauces in were kind of sticky and dusty didn’t seem like from being dirty but more like it hasn’t been used in a while maybe? Regardless I didn’t use it. Order a small PHOGA(chicken) and instead of getting the normal noodles that come with phở I opted to try the slightly bigger noddles because they’re made fresh in house. The broth itself is pretty flavorful but I still need to add some hoisin sauce and hot sauce to give it the right combination. I appreciated that they give you a lot of veggies that were all fresh. Normally phở Ga comes with ginger fish sauce, and this place did give it to you but you have to ask for it and the amount they give you is tiny. The ginger fish sauce is lighter in flavor than I’m used to. Service– is just OKAY. They came to take our order and then dropped off our Phở when it was ready, but besides that we never saw them again. Our waters were never refilled. We were never checked on… I don’t even think I got my extra napkin I requested. Parking-is absolutely horrible they have a teeny tiny lot in the back and street parking but with all the surrounding businesses the parking is normally taken my advice is to come before or after rush-hour. If and when I am in the area I guess I wouldn’t mind stopping back in here for a bowl of phở or to try any of their other items but I wouldn’t go out my way just to eat here.

Wow. Last night was my first time having phở filet and learning the difference between phở from the south & north. Phở Bac(filet mignon phở) comes in only one size for $ 7.75. Meat was delicious with thin slices of ginger. My favorite part was the broth. It’s completely different — clear and simple broth without different spices. Here, the noodles are wide like fettuccine and thin sliced rare beef cooked in hot broth. SOOOO good. Not even a huge fan of phở but I’m liking this phở bac. They don’t have other vermicelli or rice dishes. Egg rolls are meh, nothing to rave about.
