My coworker ls ordered from this place since we work down the street. It was pretty good but what impressed me was their cheesy bread! Simply delicious and worth reordering!

Pizzas are ordered often during lunch for people working close by. Sometimes the cheese is not 100% melted as they are trying to cook and deliver on-time. They need to watch that…

Had high hopes for this place since reading some of these reviews and trying it at a event. First off this place is in a industrial/office park in the back. Plenty of parking with easy street access of you know where it is. Walked in and ordered 2 supreme slices of pizza and a soda. Before handing the employee my card I asked how long it would take for lasagna to be ready he replied“no more than 2 mins” which was perfect because my lunch break is not very long. After about 10 mins my pizza was ready and the guy placed it on the counter and I proceeded to ask about the lasagna I purchased. A girl that came in the front as my pizza was being placed on the counter asked if I even payed for lasagna, like yes I did had to get my receipt out and show her when she could have asked the gentlemen who rang me up. Anyways another 5 mins and I receive my lasagna. The pizza was ehh. Reheated cheese pizza with toppings tossed on it. The lasagna was greasy and not tasteful. Overall I think that was my one and only time going there. After paying $ 16 for 2 slices of pizza and lasagna and a drink, it wasn’t enough to make me return in the future.

First time and possibly my last. First, yes they have a parking lot for easy access to the place. There’s open parking probably because this is not the best tasting food around. I ordered a turkey & cheese sandwich(#15). I was not given a choice of bread. The bread I received was white(which is fine) and was not fresh nor tasteful. The turkey seemed slimy and kind of old. The lettuce is iceberg(which also is fine) but old and wilted(not fresh). I wish this was a subway because at least they have fresh ingredients, fresh bread, and reasonable prices. The price for this is too much($ 5.95 for a sandwich I wouldn’t throw to a hungry dog). They have a large menu however I advise they shorten it, specialize in a few Grrreeeat items instead of offering many less than standard items, and bake the bread fresh daily to keep up with the nearby competition. I’ve noticed most of the reviews here are from 9 months ago or prior. Apparently this place has gone down in quality. I will try one more time for their pizza which it’s what it’s name suggests and update my review if necessary at that time. For now 2 stars for being open, giving a small effort to provide me a lunch venue, and having ok prices IF the food was of good quality(which so far I’ve determined is not).

How the hell does this place have 4.5 stars??? On a good day, this pizza is mediocre at best. The only flavor this pizza had was the crushed red peppers i added to it. And what’s with this $ 5 minimum to use a credit/debit card bs? If I’m just buying a soda, I understand if there’s a $ 2 minimum, but a $ 5 minimum is ridiculous. DONOT believe the 4.5 stars, you will be soooo disappointed if you go here expecting a close to 5 star pizza.

The pizza was probably one of the blandest tasting pizza I’ve ever had, it basically had no flavor. Other than that this place is ok Pros: Large menu Large portions Decent prices Cons: Difficult to get to No bathroom Bland pizza

Pizza and Sandwich Alert Like 60 sandwich options and plenty of pizza options and toppings. I had the Italian Sub #2. It was solid, tasty, and fresh. Also had the soup of the day, don’t remember the name, and that was decent. Will be back for pizza one day.

There are a few tables for outside dining, which is always nice. This place does take phone orders, but even if you don’t call ahead, they’re pretty quick on the pizza slices and sandwich orders. The sandwiches can be made into a combo for 1.79 more. That includes a med drink and either green salad, macaroni salad, potato salad or a bag of chips. Pizza by the slice is only Cheese, Pepperoni, Peppperoni/Sausage, or Supreme. Its the NY style thin crust, large slice. Very tasty. And the $ 1.99 spaghetti combo upgrade is a meal in itself. Since this place is in a commercial plaza with a bunch of offices, I never have a hard time finding parking. When entering/exiting, its better to use the(west) Rosemead side towards Whitmore(south). The Telstar Ave(north) side can get kinda busy, sometimes making a long wait at the driveway.

I love this place. I’ve been a regular for a few years. Great sandwiches and wraps. You can place a phone order if you’re short on time. Everyone is really nice. Only downside is that they’re closed on the weekends. But really great place!

A vendor was hosting a lunch for my company a month ago and I decided to go with Pizza Oven to cater our lunch since it was convenient and right by my office. I worked with the manager, Alberto, who was very friendly and helpful when it came to setting us up with a huge feast while still staying within our budget. With $ 200 he was able to give us 4 platters of pasta(meat sauce and fetuccini), salad. hot wings, bread sticks and a party-size pizza. We had more than enough food and everyone was really happy with the lunch. Catering a lunch can be stressful, but Alberto made it EASSYYY-CHEEEESSYY!

I would give it 4 ½ stars but the wait time and affordability bumped it up to 5 for me. Very natural ingredients and the pizza isn’t dripping with oil like most places. A very mom and pop type of pizza place. Oh and try the hot sandwiches, some of them are to die for.

I love this place, and it’s seriously like a hole in the wall location — my parents used to have an office right above this place and I remember coming here as a kid getting fat off of pizza and free drink refills. I’ve come here so many times I wouldn’t be surprised if the owner still remembers me. Their pizza is awesome — I love how it comes out hot and cheesy. I’ve been meaning to come back here for old-times sake but live kind of far away right now. If I could I would live right above this place! Hahaah

Great sandwiches. Made fresh; friendly staff. My favorite is the fireball sandwich, complete with cappicola and melted cheese. I ate here every day for a month, then sadly got tired of sandwiches. But mark my words. I will be back.

Now that I work nearby, The Pizza Oven has become one of my frequent lunch spots. After a hard mornings work, my stomach deserves to be treated to some tasty greasy goodness. Yep, cheese dripping, pepperoni loaded, and sausagefest packed pizza. They got some cheap combo meals and their drinks are all refillable. It can get pretty busy, so try to get there a few minutes early or take a later lunch. I haven’t had their sandwiches yet, but everyone I’ve spoken to rave about them. Its a good change from the other junk food places nearby. check it out!
