This place is the WORST! Me and my roommate went on New Year’s Eve for the «black and white tie affair» celebration. Outside after waiting FOREVER in the cold, they checked our ID’s, but once we got inside we had to wait in another line. By the time we got up to the front it was exactly 11 pm. We only went because it was advertised that all the ladies get in free until 11 pm. THE LADY WHO WAS TAKING THE MONEY DIDN’T LET US IN. My phone was exactly 10:59 when she was explaining to the people in front of us they were going to be the last people to get in without a cover charge. So we ended up paying $ 20/​each to get in. The music sucked. We ended up leaving around 1:30 am, only to find out that my car got BROKEN INTO! It was parked on the right side of the building facing one of the main roads, and someone managed to steal over $ 400.00 worth of my things. Sketchy! I will never go back to the 301.

New Year’s Eve party last tight could have had a better Dj. He had his awesome moments but he also had some very disappointing ones. Still had an awesome time! Good decent drinks.

I love this place and the dance floor, but i wish they would open up the upper level again it was so relaxed up there after SMASHING the floor. they always bring awesome DJs every Friday too.

I googled jazz club and came up with this past wknd’s jazz/​spoken word mix event being held @ the establishment. My best friend and I decided to attend, we had no idea it was the Kappas first event of this style in this club and had it not been announced, we wouldn’t have been able to tell from the smooth comfort of good jazz music to the swag filled performance by the poet known as I Am… I thoroughly enjoyed myself and can’t wait to attend more of these functions.
The atmospheric vibes oozed friendliness and a comfortable in my skin crowd. Everybody was there for the same purpose… to enjoy themselves. Casual wear allowed me the rare pleasure of not having to endure the abominable sagging pants. What a relief. Lol. You must check this show out if given the opportunity as u wont be disappointed.
